Recovery supplements

Just trying to get a good recovery stack going on, I currently use Amino iv or as separate ingredients Hica (hica max), Leucine and taurine.

What other Ingredients would come under recovery? LCLT, Creatine, Betaine, BA? I know they have other benefits but would recovery be a big one?

Evomuse strife looks interesting.

Ergonine looks like exactly what you're looking for, it includes LCLT, Betaine, HICA & loads more all @ researched and proven doses

According the the write up on Athletix Ergonine the ferulic acid is supposed to help in addition to the other ingredients/what you mentioned.

This is correct, thanks for the mention brother.

OP, many of what you are considering is already properly dosed and included in Ergonine,
The creatine/Betaine anhydrous combo is even further enhanced with the inclusion of Ferulic acid.

We have a hefty dose of HICA (1.5 g) to save you from purchasing it separately.

LCLT is one of the best recovery aids around you are looking for the right things. In Ergonine we included glutamine as well, long known as one of the most dominant aminos in muscle tissue that gets depleted with strenuous activity.
Strait L-glutamine falls short of helping as much as it should because of its heavy absorption and use in our gut, but by combining it with LCLT it is much more available to working muscles to further aid recovery.

I recommend giving our write-up on Ergonine a read over at athletixsports.com

Maybe try some extra glutamine and zma in there.

Ergonine pretty much has every ingredient you need (for recovery).

Supplement wise, definitely.

The only extra considerations would be warm up/cool down protocols around lifting, adequate protein intake and healthy fat intake, and possibly recovery aids like foam rolling if he has a very strenuous routine

strafe is amazing for recovery and you will feel it instantaneously. I used a tub of it and can say for dsade hit the nail on the head. Although the flavoring isn't the best the recovery definitely is.

Guys sorry I don't think i was clear in my question. I'm asking if Creatine, Betaine e.t.c will work as recover supplements too. I'm trying to get a good recovery stack together. This is what I would like to put most of my funds towards as I'm a bit run down right now and due to Work, child, training I can't see it changing soon lol.

Anyway I'm purchasing lots of Ergonine soon. This has ticked so many box's for me. Supplements in the uk are so over priced and buying bulk powders from the us ends up expensive due to shipping/Customs. If $20 shipping is permanent unless obviously things change that is out of the companies hands then I will buy forever.

I'm very interested in strafe too and will buy once available.

Would like if funds permit I want to stock up on Amino iv, Ergonine & Stafe. That should be a good recovery stack.
If I had the money I would add myosnergy as a staple with the above 3. Hica in all 4 products YUM. I would pore Hica down my hatch constantly if i could lol.

I would say to save your money for more carbs around training and increased protein intake if it is not already sufficient.
Carbs peri workout for me means zero soreness the following day.

Grab some sugar (or water flavourers) and mix up your own carb drink. Add salt if you drink a lot of fluid or workout for extreme lengths of time

If you have the funds, IFN's Most Wanted is a very effective recovery supplement. In my opinion, the best Ive ever used. Crushed the doms. Blew Bio Gro put of the water. Didnt see the other reported benefits, but recovery was top notch.

Ya that would pretty much cover you, if you can't recover on those you probably aren't dialing in other aspects of training and nutrition.

I'd also echo Jiigzz recommendations to improve recovery and toss in the idea of adaptogens. Rhodiola and Ashwagandha are my other go to type products other than what has been mentioned already.

I would first look at how well you're sleeping and if your diet is in check with your training output. After that, have you tried foam rolling? That can help recovery quite a bit.

If all those things are in check, I would look into Performax Labs CreMax. Yes, it is a creatine product, however, it does contain Creatinol-O-Phosphate which has a positive effect on recovery. You're also getting your daily dose of creatine and TMG in it as well!
