Hello guys, I'm trying to cut some weight while not losing strength and the effects of creatine. So if I wanna cut weight, would I have to stop drinking creatine?

No reason to drop creatine it will only help

Can I still drink Superpump as my pre in the evening while drinking Alphamine?

Absolutely, stim tolerance is very individual so go slow to assess your tolerance but I have no issue with the 3 daily Alphamine scoops and extra stims preworkout

can u explain? I'm currently using con crete creatine.

I don't want to speak of ill of any companies/products but if you research creatine studies you will find the truth in no time.

Creatine salt claims are a joke,
none of them surpass the effectiveness of plain creatine mono.
You actually need to take more of those products to match it because part of the product weight is the bound salt and not creatine.

Some of them are even proven less effective than mono even with a matching amount, such as CEE.

All you meed is 3-5g creatine, mono or anhydrous are the cheapest ways to get all the benefits

I'd like to see the science in this. From what research iv done it seems to be a pretty solid product. I haven't seen any strength decreases since switching last year and much less water retention.

There is ONLY science on mono

The only studies on salts show either no improvement or less.

I will grab links if you want but its easy to find multiple studies by a simple google search

I always like Examine for basic supplement questions like this; here is the link to this exact question, including referenced studies and explanations:

Quotes:

"Assuming Creatine Monohydrate (most frequently used in studies) is the standard by which to compare, no form of creatine has shown to be more powerful or potent."

So for your best value, monohydrate wins by miles.

Creatine has been around a long time and I do not see it being improved. It is the supplement that spawned the industry.

However recent studies are showing that co-supplementing with certain ingredients will enhance its effects. Synergistic ingredients such as Betaine.

For a really good read on synergies and on a formula that optimizes many of the ergogenic/myogenic effects you can check out Athletix Ergonine at athletixsports.com

Definitely keep creatine in your supplement stack when cutting. While cutting, recovery and performance can be hindered. With that sid, check out CreMax.

Creatine has a long track record of increasing recovery. As well it contains gram doses of Taurine, Betaine Anhydrous and Creatinol O Phosphate which will all aid in performance and recovery times. As well it contains an electrolyte complexes for proper hydration.

There is no advantage to HCL despite what poliquin would have you believe. He forgets to mention that the digestive tract us not water based and that stomach acid cleaves the bonds before absorption anyway

Silly poliquin

Driven, what's your opinion on kre-alkylyn? I gave it a try. So far I don't feel much of anything from it compared to traditional mono. Idk how I feel about it..feel like PH buffer is crap

I don't agree with kre-alkalyn.

Studies show very good absorption of monohydrate, there is very minimal room to improve, and even if they did increase it by 1% is that really worth the 5x price difference.
