Big volume PR on 505, 2 sets over last weeks volume PR. I'm very happy considering its 91% of my best pull ever.

I've been doing a couple things consistently every night and my hips are back to where they were a few months ago. Can't ****ing wait to squat again now.
 
Crazy tons of pulling, man! This is gonna be epic.
 
By the looks of those, and how you repeated that effort, I would say you are about due for a deadlift PR ma man. Nice freaking work
 
This is nothing ground breaking, but this hip sequence has been great to me lately; particularly when I don't have a ton of time.

So, Duffin's video made me feel alright about what I've been doing. I've been wearing the hammy bands when I'm wide stanced, and I've done the high rep uni leg press (though I need to do it more) I'll see how the airplane deal is.

lol ya right. I've been going back and forth on the hammy bands. I wasn't sure if it was doing me good or bad. Adductors feel good without them, bad without. I'll take the video as reassurance.
 
The hammy bands are pretty much specific to wide squats and sumos?
 
No. Anytime you would want to compress a certain area, just like the cuffs. I pulled an adductor muscle last spring so I started wearing one. I noticed my hips felt better so I've been wearing them on both since. Reason Duffin, mentions it, is because wide stance wreaks havoc on the groin/adductor. If you've pulled something or need compression and your narrow/conventional, it will still help. It can be worn anywhere on the thigh.
 
What do you look for in a (multi-purpose) wrap?
 
So these hammy bands come in 20in as the biggest, to where them where id need them, it measures 28in on me. So id need a 26-28in band then?

I dunno, really. I don't know anything about wraps. Something I could use on knees and elbows, or and hammys?

I think they go up to 22" but no. They stretch easy. I'll see what mine are in a bit and get a thigh measurement if you want. I got an XL (though I don't see it say XL on rogue anymore) Whatever Mark Bell's measurement was, is what mine was I think.

There's nothing that multipurpose whatsoever. Knee wraps are knee wraps (2-3 meter long). If I compress a part on the leg with one, it's once in a blue moon and there's 4ft dangling off. You won't want that on your arms or elbows at all. You'll just need to be something specific for the issue.

Does the brand matter? Would it be a waste if I bought some cheap ones just to play with?
 
It's a waste of time unless you intend on competing in them IMO If you're lifting with USAPL, it wouldn't do much good because you can't compete in them.

Yeah, I dunno who I'll compete with either. So many variables... Damn you guys. Lol

Just to add, the hip circle is same stuff and I believe if you are a certain size too large you do like a small hammy band. Pretty sure it was in the chart on liftinglarge.com

Could be wrong bc it has been awhile since I bought mine
 
Lou, my legs are 28" and I have an 18" band (marked as 9" on the band itself) I've worn them all up and down my leg, but always squat/sumo pull with it high on the hip. I've had them since last March and they're still in good condition, besides the fact that they're inside my groin for 2 hours every week.

I'm disappointed with the squat depth. I was sinking them until I wrapped up. I messed with my bar position with the box squats and it felt a lot better. I sat it a tad lower on my delts and I felt tighter so hopefully that's the change that was needed. The bar rolled up my back on rep 5 w/555 so I feel fairly confident that's the problem.
