Some good lifts there! Excellent job
Solid pressing man!
Nice job bro.. feeling all better? And ya get them the next time round!
Killing it Thomas! Glad you're feeling better! I do both for the OHP as well.
Still some solid work. You are gonna love it when you get your belt![]()
Barbell Squat 370
Pfft. My stupid Walmart belt was digging/punching my abs on every rep of the AMRAP. Took some of my mental game out.
!
It's been exactly one month, so maybe any week now...
Thanks Rob.
When i first got my lever belt I was not used to the height of it.. did the same thing.. but didnt take much to get used to.. and such a superior piece of equipment
What'd you finally decide on? 5wks is pretty fast for a belt man....I've seen 10-12wks more often than not, unless it was stocked (and if it was direct from Inzer, that didn't matter).
Oh, and no glute DOMs at this point. DL day might come quick...
Lack of DOMS doesn't necessarily mean you're recovered, man!
lol I gotcha. I thought for a second you were gonna roll right into DL's today haha
Ouch on the $1300! No ouch=no DOMS! Beast!
You are so funny. Lol. My volume is so small compared to yours! I say again: Beast! No DOMs because I can't do YOUR volume. lol
That's rough about your truck! What was wrong with it? What is this "no DOMS" you speak of? I've never experienced this! Lol
Ouch 1300 for a water and fuel pump.. A good belt is a must I got a 10 mm longhorn lever. Makes me feel like I'm gonna burst when I push out against it, it's awesome.
Strong squating man. I get that at times with my cheap tapered belt. I really need and to get an inzer belt or something but not sure if a 10 or a 13mm would suite my body type.

Why flat foot bench?
USAPL doesn't allow a non-flat foot. I'd hate to have to switch a couple months out.
Really didn't research the difference. I better like the 13mm. What's 3mm? Lol
Thanks Allen.

Any reason you're confining yourself to the usapl?
Every mm countsNot familiar with their rules, but some feds don't allow a 13mm belt in raw divisions....just saying. I know SPF allows it, but they're a pretty casual fed in general (no disrespect; we have a lot of feds because people want different things).
I wear compression cuffs and altered my grip on low bar (the cause of my bicep pain). Bringing my grip into pinkies on the rings helped too.
Rehband is expensive but worth it.Pinkies on rings for squat? Are the Slingshot compression sleeves worth anything?
It seemed to be a popular one, and the last local search I did the majority were USAPL. I really don't care much, just thought maybe that's what'd end up being. Meh. I can always get another belt then. Maybe I can find a lax one tho. I'm not looking to break any records, just to have the experience of it all.

USAPL will allow a 13mm belt. They're the strictest of Feds, too.
As for sleeves, they'll give you bare minimal support. Not comparable to wraps at all. They'll just keep your knees warm and feeling good.
Do you have these? I was more referring to arms/bicep support. I don't think I'm ready or need knee wraps. However, does the same apply to arm sleeves as knee sleeves?
Slingshot compression cuffs are definitely worth it! And no, I was referring to pinkies on the rings for bench press. Any wider seems to aggravate my bicep tendons.
I want to get some slingshot cuffs myself. They are on my wish list for sure. 13 mm is a bulkier belt, but I've never worn one so I couldn't tell you the difference feel wise. The 10 mm is uncomfortable enough for deads though, I'd imagine a 13 would be worse.
I own the Rehband Strongman version. You can clinch the upper and lower straps to help put pressure on the muscles:Do you have these? I was more referring to arms/bicep support. I don't think I'm ready or need knee wraps. However, does the same apply to arm sleeves as knee sleeves?
