Lol, I borrowed them from Bill Pearl! Make sure and keep the weight lite. I usually do them with the laterals to keep my flexibility and help with ROM.
 
Stealing these! I just practiced the move with no DBs in my hands! My ROM needs work!

I'll have no choice. Even on six-ways I can't go above 5's to complete 3x10. lol
 
Had a doc appointment the other day to check out my thoracic area in the spine. Been having a lingering back pain. Good news was the disc and spacing looked fine on the X-ray. She's a sports medicine doc. She found the problem, an area I guess foam rolling and using a ball couldn't get. One little area right next to the spine and runs over under the shoulder blade was knotted up like a rope. A couple quick trigger point injections and I was out of there. She told me to lay off back this week so today is normally my BACK day. Stayed home and did cardio. Back feels much better and at least I know my disc are degenerating in that area yet.
Tomorrow is leg day!
 
Glad she found a remedy. Take it easy, or lighter...

My biggest concern was the DDD(DIsc Degenerative Disease) had started on the Thoracic area. With 8 disc already fused I get paranoid when something lingers and feels similar to how the others felt.
Good news the doc was really impressed with my physique. She said it made her want to push weights again. She's doing Insanity right now. That made me smile!

I hear ya.. when i tweak my back and it doesnt heal up 'over night' I always get a bit paranoid too (no fusing but had L4/L5 discectomy)

Doctors! If it was up to them we all would be on pills and limiting our exercise to 30 mins of walking! As BigT said: what do you call the person that graduated lowest on the list from medical school? Answer: "Doctor"!
 
I guess the ones that flunk become personal trainers and chiropractors...lol

I tried 90 but was just using a chain wrapped around my waist with the weights on it. 90 caused the chain to dig in. They don't have the dip belt any more. I might buy one and take it with me when I need to do dips!

Sorry for lack of participation the past couple days. Traveling and training for the new job. No workout yesterday as it was a scheduled rest day. The hotel here has db's to 50lbs so with a little creativity I did get a good arm workout in early this morning.

It was kind of funny this morning working out. A couple people in there on the treadmills and here I was huffing and puffing, a little grunting, and drinking my BCAA's! When I'd look up over at them they would try and look away. Guess I was a little too intense for them, especially on the drop sets as I was making some sounds...!

Managed to get a workout in right after training today. Shoulder day!
Since the only thing they have is db's to 50 and a bench I decided to do a Lite workout

Db overhead press - seated

50's x 10 x 6 sets 30 second rest

Actually it was a great workout! Never thought those 50lb db's would kick my butt, but they did. Just couldn't get that 10th set in... They really taxed me with that 30 second rest. To the point I had to drop back down to 15's on the laterals after just a few sets.
 
Nice... totally made due with what was available and killed it. I am sure the change up from your normal heavy lifting will stimulate growth too
 
Yeah, this training has everything screwed up. My diet, my workouts, timing of my meals, etc. heck, I've gotta have 2 shakes tonight just to get my protein in and get close to my calories. I have to eat out to get reimbursed. Otherwise I'd cook in the room!

Yes, at the hotel fitness room. Friday hopefully I can get to the real gym. For some reason they don't have staff at the real gyms at 5am lol
