He's following RTS principles and they all drop volume but maintain intensity. Mike T and Matt Gary's guys have never had issues pulling PRs in meets with this approach.![]()

I'm interested in how the meet goes! Trust the plan and execute after all the hard work put in so far.![]()
thanks for answering that for me bolt! I'm stoked to see how I do, granted I'm not moving huge numbers I'm still pretty pumped lolIt's all good. I'm not sure I'd recommend that type of deload unless you follow similar frequency and intensity programming like RTS. Honestly though when doing it this way once you've built up to it it doesn't take as much out of you. I'm interested in how the meet goes! all good brotherman. This is true - sorry Tyga for being a doubting Thomas; you should trust your programming.
This is true - sorry Tyga for being a doubting Thomas; you should trust your programming. Sean1332 doesn't M2 method continually push the intensity up with no main movement deloads as well, just pulls volume and adds in progressively larger reverse bands at the very end before the comp?
You'll lightened or shortened third attempts a few weeks out. 10/20/Life you'll PR a month or so out, and do nothing but attempts the rest of the time. Week of is last warmups.
Check out the Israetel article on peaking. Good read.

Istraetel has good interesting thoughts on dieting as well.
Got a bunch ground elk and a few lbs of elk sirloin and elk strip steak.
x2^Dude super jealous I love elk.
I'm cookin it up today so I'll report back on the taste. My homeboy said it was deliciousDude super jealous I love elk.
Mmm I put some seasoning on it, but I reminds me of beef jerky (texture wise)I love elk the couple times in my life I've had it. What does the ground bear meat taste like?

I cooked a pound of bear into a pound of grass fed beef and made a loaf. Delicious.

Elk is by far my fave wild game. Hyde, bear has a tendency to be greasy and extremely gamey due to the scavenger diet and the higher bf contents. It's great sausage. Never cared for like steaks or anything.
I had bison the other day and it was gamey and greasy. I had to pour sriracha over it just to mask the taste.
Bison is one of the less gamey ones IMO Don't try bear or crocodile
Can you guys get moose meat in the US? Worth trying if so Have not had Elk to compare, I should pick some up by the sounds of it
I had bear jerky before and it tasted just like beef.
One of my buddies goes north and hunts, brings it back and processes it then just tosses me lbs when I want emI don't think I have ever had either. Where do you get the meat from ?

The game flavor entirely depends on that particular animal's diet and how it was prepped beforehand as well as how old the animal was in the first place. I've eaten deer from the same woods on similar diets, with nothing but age being significantly different and one was a leaner version of beef while the other was very gamey and terrible aftertaste. That said, regardless of flavor, there are leaner meats out there, Elk being the leanest and venison (deer) & bison right behind it. Farm raised Elk and Bison would be the best options IMO.
