Has anyone noticed that if a supplement is not taken with enough water, such as just enough to take the pill, that the supplement feels like it doesnt hardly work at all?

Shoot for a 1-1.5 gallon per day and you'll be fine. The "lack" of the supplement not working is you being dehydrated which causes a myriad of problems, not the effectiveness of the supp itself

I know with GMS, it is suggested to take it with a good amount of water, usually at least 20 oz.

Yep. I realized how important water intake is awhile ago. ecspecially if you're taking a lot of supplements and eatting a lot water intake could make or break you.

i think he means specifically when taking a pill....for example if you take a pill at 11am everyday and only take a sip of water that the pill doesn't work as well.....the answer comes from everyone elses answer because you should continually be drinking water to make the problem null

I've noticed with a couple supplements in particular if I don't drink enough water with the dose I'll burp a cloud of smoke.

Your liver and kidneys won't function correctly without enough water, so just a guess that this might interfere with absorption.
