literally just found out about it yesterday haha. I'm a fanGonna plead ignorance and say that I never realized my favorite bench technique was called a spoto press. That is a sick weight to be pressing.
my last gym max was 440 but I just hit 455 the other day on floor press which for me has always been a little harder than flatI'm gonna have to try it and see where I'm at... What's your max nazinazi?

I'm trying to get a 3x bw bench by my mid to late thirties. My mentor had a 3x his bw gym pr of 600 on decline and was going for it on flat when he torn his pec off. That was in his mid fortiesThat's an insane floor press for your weight man!

raw. Unfortunately those numbers I have to take his word on and the word of other gym memebers who have witnessed it but I personally have seen him hit 405 on incline and 225 for 50 on decline along side 150lb DBS for reps and he's now in his early to mid 50s and had two shoulder surgeries and a hernia surgery so I can definitely see him hitting those numbers in his mid 40sIs this raw or geared?
u do not look 40 in that vid hahaI was I could do 2x body weight.... I'm 40
yes sir! I'm at 285x3 and I am 175.Did 315x3 on bench pretty easy and I'm 195 and I was born with Erbs palsy. This just shows with the right training program and diet anything is possible. Invalid Link Removed

Nice work, and rack pulls are just the hack squats of deadliftsI know nobody really cares about rack pulls but I got a PR today. I did it just for fun. 585x1. I could've got 2 but I felt my calluses ripping. Invalid Link Removed
135 on bench today! Finally after all this time!!!

I make it less about the lbs jumped and more about the reps I do in warm ups and lower working sets. If I'm shooting at a PR, I will stick with all of the same weights I have been using in that particular cycle, but just do less reps as to not gas out.Slightly off topic. But I'm interested in the largest weight u can jump from warm up to warm up whether it be for a 1RM or just working sets. I've experimented between 40-70 pound jumps but I'm interested in the biggest jump u can make safely.

195x5 strict OHP old PR was 185x5 so a pretty big mark for me.
