May not burn muscle but AM has studies showing it drives testosterone levels down quite a bit...newer studies show that testosterone levels are highest when cardio is done before a weight session and remain high throughout the workout. So many conflicting studies **** thisAnd people always say you burn muscle if you do cardionsessions after lifting. Pft I knew I was in the right with that one.

I always hear about how cardio "burns muscle" as if you could "do cardio wrong" and wither away. I have to think that's BS. The body stores fat for a reason, which is to supply energy when there's no food energy available. I can believe that when fat reserves get very low the body will burn muscle and attempt to hang on to the fat for serious emergency use, but at any other time, I think the body will burn fat rather than muscle like it's supposed to.
