Hey guys hows it going, im an 18 year old kid who has been using prohormones and steroids when i was 16. Flame all you want, but i think my story may be helpful to other kids like me who said they were, uhm, at least 21 or older on forums. First off I will say I do like aas, alot. I do however regret taking aas when I did. I would have much preferred to have taken steroids later in life, around 20ish as opposed to 16. Basically I was a kid who was 150 pounds when i started lifting at 6'3 and naturally got to 175. The attention people were giving me in high school was great and at that time thats what mattered to me (trust me im only 18 now and can honestly say, why the hell did i care so much?...) anyways i had plateued for six months at the same weight. Looking back I KNOW this could have been fixed with my diet, simply taking more calories would have helped. Anyways I looked here for guidance and decided epistane would be the first cycle choice. I did a lot of research and i do feel like ive done all my cycles safely(proper pct and support and ai). Of course i knew steroids were damaging to almost every system in your body, but being a teen is about the here and now.

The thing is though the psychological pressure I felt was awful. I felt small, and weak, and cared way to much about my physique during and after a cycle instead of appreciating the important things in life, good grades in school, health, and having true friends as opposed to the short term high school fiends we all had. One of the biggest things that i still worry about and haunted me for a long time, was "did my selfish choice to take steroids affect my chances of ever being able to conceive a child with a woman some day?" i plan to have kids and i realized that what if it was my fault that i couldnt have children... when i first cycled i was under the assumption that if my dad was able to get my mom pregnant after how many cycles he did i should be fine. But i soon realized that at such a young age my body and endocrine system was not finished developing so there is a potential for that. Anyways since i started at 16 ive done 4 cycles, which have consisted of sust, m1t, epi, trenavar, ultradrol, . of course not all in the same cycle.

I do wish i would have waited to cycle. im 210 and very lean now and thats great and all, but i miss the real journey of bodybuilding and knowing i felt safe. What about you guys?

If you are concerned about shutdown and fertility, I think you should see a doctor for peace of mind. If you're PCT for each cycle has been on point you may be okay. Generally you can rebound with time. However, sometimes you can't. I think you need to get bloodwork done to see what your levels are. If you find a good doctor, he/she should be able to help you. I'm 31 and am on TRT. The first two doctors I went to wanted to put me on test, but my wife was keen to the infertility issues and said no way. I searched around and found an expert urologist at the Cleveland Clinic and the first question he asked me was whether I had ever taken test, PH's, etc. He put me on Clomid for TRT so I remain fertile. Once we're done having kids, he will switch me to test.

So you will be a lot of feedback about whether you should really be concerned about fertility, but the only way you are truly going to rest easy is by seeing a doctor.

Good luck bro and feel free to PM me with any questions.

Not flaming, well kinda... But starting at 16 your endo system had only just began to start forming.
Background on me...
Started workin out at age of 16 started about 150lbs at 8-9%graduated high school at 195 at 18 natty at 7-8%.Had not takin ANY TYPE of pro hormone or AAS. At 20after taking 2years off from workin out I started workin out again and a buddy said he could get me test cyp that was pharm grade, so I took it. 10wks I gained 18lean lbs only workin upper body! The problem was I had not done a proper pct and spent the next couple of years fighting with myself trying to get right. Needless to say I'm a good lookin 21year old guy who has a hard time getting it up...( no good when you popular with the lady's).
Fast forword about 2-3 years (In which time I done my homework on AAS all the good and all the bad). I started working out again natty and was making some fairly good strides in getting myself back into shape. I was always the strong kid even when I was 18 years old I was benching 300 pounds. So I began powerlifting and started using again. From 2009 to 2012I was top 10 in the 220 weight class.

^^^ Sorry about that I got off on a tangent. This is what I'm really talking about. Starting when you did could really lead to problems later on in life for you. Since about the time I was 25 I probably should have been on TRT now that I'm 40 years old and I'm on TRT my life is good except for the constant pinning. It really can get old. In my opinion I would say see a doctor and see him often keep tabs on your numbers.

I'm not saying don't do it I'm just saying I'm 100% sure that at 25 I was having erection problems from using. Take that what you will this is a little bit about me. Hopefully others can learn from me and I have to go through what I've been there.

Sorry for the really long post...

I started juicing at 23 and I don't regret it one bit. Everyone hits a natural plateau or natural ability to gain at different ages. There is no specific age where i believe you should wait to start

25+ would be best time to start but Virtually no one waits that long.

In that case you should be good because that is what the problem is with most people your age taking drugs.

Do I regret doing it no I just wish I knew more about what I was doing before I started myself down this path. Granted it has got me national titles and multiple records with my name on them still I just would've liked to of had more info under my belt before I started this. But now it's a part of my life and that's the way I will always be
