I always mix Muscle Fiber with my BCAA+SAA. Doesn't alter the taste at all.

The apple STIMUL8 and Wild Watermelon IGNITE2 taste really good together.

I also like Tropical Storm STIMUL8 Blue Razz BCAA+SAA. Reminds me of Jamaica...

IMO, the Apple Fusion is slightly less sweet (the scooper is also different). It has the perfect flavor at 1.5 scoops for every 23oz.

I mentioned this in someone else's log, but the BCAA/SAA mixes very well in a full shaker without being too sweet.i'll even sip on half of it and then add more water.

That's similar to how I sleep on half a scoop. It's perfect for me though. I'm okay with peeing, as long as I'm right back to bed.

Took a full scoop of G8 last night and not sure if it was the G8 or something else but I was laying in bed after I drank it and within a half an hour I almost felt like I had taking a Xanax! My legs were so relaxed I didn't want to get out of bed to plug in my phone :24:
I slept like a baby until 3:30 this morning ( or 5 1/2 hours) but then woke up 3-4 times between then and 7. I'll take a another full scoop tonight and see if I get the same effects.

the phenibut in combination of GABA causes the massive relaxation. I think that snags even does 2 scoops. I havnt tried that yet myself.
 
Got the same effect last night. Slept like a baby and only woke twice, the second time wasn't until 5am this morning!!!! We'll see how rested I feel today, been getting pretty sleepy around 11, and again around 3.

I'll be back in the gym tonight, starting Meadows Reactive pump. I think it is going to kick my ass!!!
 
Any users report feeling a little 'loopy' during the day? I noticed yesterday evening I was a little light headed and slight dizziness. Noticing the same thing already this morning?? May have nothing to do with the G8, but just coincidence it just started happening.

I've not had that feeling except while on cycle. Probably from one of the compounds you're taking. Side effect of the compounds with the G8 possibly...
 
its not something ive notice myself. however that doesn't mean it cant happen. hopefully more people can chime in. tbh I like that I don't feel all groggy the next day. I usually wake up feeling refreshed as if I got tons of rest but im rdy to go!
im hoping this isn't some kind of withdrawal side effect from stopping the use of your meds..
im sure you will keep us posted.

I always wake refreshed and feeling good. I have only noticed that loopy feeling on cycle as well.

You are running the perfect stack for Reactive Pump..that deep sleep and the BCAA+SAA will have you recovering nicely.
 
Whatever I had going on this morning went away after awhile. Like turff49 said , it may just be from one of the compounds I am taking.. I'll keep an eye on it and update if I keep noticing it.


Reactive Pump is deffinately intense !! Leg day was for sure. Here is how it went...

Leg Curls-
4 sets of 8, with 25 partials after last set
130 x 8
150 x 8
170 x 8
180 x 8 then finish with 25 partials.
Already lit up my hammies!!

Squats- Explosive reps, 6 sets of 6, supposed to be with chains, but don't have any. I am thinking about picking up some soon though.
225 6 x 6
I paused at the bottom to take any rebound out of it, and then powered up.I should of went a little heavier, because the bar was actually liftin a little at the top of my rep from powering up so quick.

Leg Press with escalating set - 16 reps, adding a 25lb plate on each side after each 4 reps
So it went , 6 plates total, 4 reps then lock out knees and add 2 25's, then 4 more reps then add 2 25's. We did this 3 times, then finished off the last 4 of the 16 reps with 3 25's on each side.
The weight wasn't too bad, but the hold between sets to add weight sucked!! haha

Leg extensions- Reps 10,15 with 2 sec holds in full contraction for each rep. Then 20 reps with no holds, then stand for 5 sec then do 15 partials
130 10,15,20, then 15 partials
Between the holds and partials I could literally feel the burn clear down the side of my legs!! It was crazy intense!

DB stiff leg deadlift- 2 sets 15
75's 2 x 15

Calf raises in leg press- 2 sets 30 with a 10 sec hold after each 10 reps, after each 30 rep set you stand up and dorsiflex your ankle to failure
6 plates- 10 reps/hold for 10 sec, then 10 reps/hold for 10 sec, then 10 reps/hold for 10 sec
repeat but with only 4 plates.


I have been doing more of a strength routine, and after tonight I am sure I won't be able to walk tomorrow!! Crazy pump and burn tonight!!!

Haha, I'm telling you, it about killed me. I know I was getting some funny looks doing the extensions. I was hollering and screaming. That sh!t hurt!!

Yeah, you definitely could've added more weight to the squats. I get the bounce with 225 too, and your squat is way stronger than mine.

Slept great again last night. Went to bed at 11 and didn't wake until 5am again. A full 6 hours was awesome!!

Yes, very nice. I woke up feeling pretty good, but did get sleepy this afternoon. I have to figure in that I was getting 8-9 hours sleep a night, although broken up. Now that I started my new job and am having to train late in the evening I am lucky to get 7 hours sleep, so it has been cut back a few hours a night.

Glad to see you're getting some much needed rest!! You're looking beastly!!

Slept pretty good last night, as stated above. I have tomorrow off but still have to get up early to get the kids off to school. Although I am sure an afternoon nap is going to happen since everyone will be gone until tomorrow afternoon :D
I mixed the BCAA/SAA with a scoop of Fruit Punch Karbolyn and drank it during my workout tonight. Talk about a strong taste/flavor!! I just about need a gallon jug to mix it in haha.

Tonight workout was Chest and shoulders

Slight Incline DB press- 4 sets of 8/ 1 sec contraction at top, with 2 25lb plates under the front of the bench to give it an incline.
80's x 8
85's x 8
90's x 8
95's x 8

Explosive Bench- 5 sets 5, Stop bar on chest for 1 sec then explode up
245 5 x 5
Went a little heavy on this. The weight wasn't bad, it just didn't feel like I was moving the bar as fast as i should have been.

Slight incline BB press- 3 sets 6, no lock out and do not touch chest, Constant tension
185 3 x 6
These were just the opposite, I should of went a little heavier although I did get a good pump.

Ladder Push-ups- These were done with no rest between settings.
Low setting x 25
Medium setting x 15
High setting x 10
2ND SET
Low setting x 15
Medium setting x 10
High setting x 8
I literally failed on the last set and couldn't push myself back up away from the bar!!!

Seated Side Laterals- 3 sets 12
25's 3 x 12

Destroyer sets- 60, 30, 15
55's x 50 +10
30's x 30
20's x 15

I had to quit at 50 reps on the first set and pause for 10 secs before finishing them.

I was supposed to do Cage press tonight too but there is no way I could of. I am almost going to have to stop doing chest and shoulders on the same day, the pump is so painful in my shoulders I can't hardly finish my workouts!! They were bad enough tonight, after I got home they still were burning!! (15mins later)

Yes they are!! My tris have been pretty sore the last few days and I think they are from the ladders. I did them in between the side of the power rack so I didn't have my hands place very wide. I think next time I will do them on the front side and just move the barbell up with the hooks each set.

This evenings workout was a little shorter. Just hit back tonight.

One-arm barbell rows- I did these standing beside the bb, instead of with them between my legs like a long bar row.
2 plates 3 x 8 each arm

Smith machine barbell rows- Explosive reps
225 4 x 6

Dumbell pull-overs-
60's 4 x 10
I have a hard time isolating my lats doing these. It seem like I hit my chest as well..

Dumbell shrugs- 3 sec contraction/ faced the clock to make sure I hit 3 secs on each one
80's 3 x 12
These were killer!

Deadlift- explosive 4 sets, then 5th set repped out with normal speed
135 x 3
185 x 3
225 x 3
275 x 3 ( slowed down a little on these)
275 x 12

5 mins of hated ab work

I think I need to stay more around 245 to keep it as a speed/explosive rep. I lost a lot of momentum at 275. Also I really figured I would get more than 12 for my last set. The routine says to rep it out until you start to lose form.

I mixed the BCAA's with Karbolyn tonight and sipped it through most of my workout. Seems to keep my going pretty good throughout my workout without fatiguing to much. I need to get a gallon of water tomorrow night and mix it with about a half of a jug. The only bad part is lifting so late I go to bed about an hour after I am done lifting and will be up more to pee.
 
Nice update JD.

On the pullovers, are you keeping the short ROM and only coming up to the top of your forehead? I also try and flare out my lats, kinda pushing my elbows away from each other.
 
that's why I do these on chest day when I do them.. I think they are better at opening up the rib cage and stretching the pecs than for lats. though I do feel lats more on the pull over machines.

I agree. I do these on chest day also.
 
Meadows says by having your head hanging off the bench slightly and only bringing the db back up to the top of your forehead you are predominantly working the lats. But I too have done full range pullovers on chest day.

Yup. I get a really good lat pump with them.
 
Yes I try to stop just above my head. I work on trying to get more m/m connection and try to isolate my lats more.
 
No workout tonight. I ran out of time. Got off work late, went home to eat, and then out with the kids trick or treating. When I finally got home I had a few things to do here and it got to late. So I'll hit the gym tomorrow after work.
 
Didn't take my G8 last night and I could tell!! I woke up my normal 2-3 time, but had a very hard time going back to sleep. On the G8 I would roll over and fall right back to sleep, not last night, my mind would start racing and would be up from 10mins to 45mins before I would doze back off!!

My nutrition was down today considerably. We were busy all day at work and didn't get to stop to eat much. With that being said I had a killer arm workout tonight with an unreal pump again!!

Everything was supersetted an by the time I had got the first sets of bi/tri supersets done I was already swole up with veins everywhere :D


Rope-pushdowns- 4 sets 12
120 4 x 12

Dumbell curls- alternating arms with palms facing up, no supinating
30's 4 x 12

Tricep dips- 3 sec negative (actually got 4-5 on most)
BW 4 x 8

Barbell curls- staying in mid range with constant tension

80 2 x 8

Decline skull crushers- 25lb plate under the front of the bench, also touch bar to nose instead of forehead
65 4 x 15 ( failed at 14 on last set)

Hammer curls- alternating arms
35's 4 x 12

I really had to push myself to get through the last sets tonight. My arms were so full of blood I couldn't even straighten them out when I wasn't lifting! :D


I am taking my middle son deer hunting tomorrow so my calories will probably be off again, but I will have the day off from lifting too.

Great update. That's what I love about G8; the ability to fall right back to sleep.

That, and the parties I have in my dreams.

This is opening weekend for rifle/deer season, but my stepson isn't home or I would've taken him. Next weekend maybe. Last year was his first year at 12.
