Day17. 200lbs
I have another bottle of Tr3st on the way, so tomorrow I'm upping the dose from 100mg to 150mg. No sides so far except slightly more oily skin and a little libido increase, which means nothing when your married. She's the one that needs the libido increase! BF is slightly higher or possibly the same. Still waiting for the big strength boom!

Your volume is getting crazy big man. Love the retro stuff I remember those we had them at Bally's or should I say back then is was President & First Lady fitness.

Thanks MrKleen73! I started doing some higher volume about a year ago, due to something my step-grandfather always said to me. He was an old time strongman, and was in the Guinness book of records for pulling and lifting with his teeth. The retro equip came from him. I would go to his gym and try to lift heavy, and he would just laugh and say, "can you lift it a hundred times?" I would always think he was just a crazy old man! He died about 12 years ago, and just here lately I've been thinking about what he said. Didn't actually know him long, just about 5 years before he died, but he was 75 and strong as a bull!
 
Thanks, not part of my genes, step-mom's dad. He was strong, he was getting in fights at 70 yrs old beating up 20 yr olds.

That's awesome. I hope I can do the same when I'm 70.

Yeah he was awesome! He had lots of stories about growing up. One amazing story is when he was 6 yrs old his mother stopped at a gas station in Arizona and left he and his 3 yr old sister there. They had to survive some how, so he found another little boy his age and they would fight on the street corners for money. He said his mother came back about 1 year later and found he and his sister and took them home.

Day 18 199 lbs
I've got to change up my routine, I feel like I'm over working my arms. Tendons are really sore. Working arms twice a week, plus indirectly twice a week with chest and back makes 4 days of arms. So now I'm going to change it to:
Sunday:Chest/Triceps
Monday:Legs
Tuesday:Back/Biceps/Shoulders
Wednesday:Rest
Thursday:Chest/Triceps
Friday:Legs
Saturday:Back/Biceps/Shoulders

Thanks for your input brother! My main tendon issues seem to be with biceps and a little with shoulders. I feel I need to rest biceps a little longer, so with tomorrow being Sunday I'll probably go with Chest/Tri's and see how that feels. Bicep tendons hurt just lifting normal things(kids, chairs, loads of laundry) so I wanted to give them a few more days rest. What you have looks good though after a few days rest. I could see starting it a week from now. Thanks
 
Oh ****! Strength just started showing up! Last week I barely benched 315x1 today it's 315x3! Bam!
There ya go and it is just starting to go up haha.
 
Man a 2 rep gain at 315 is a big jump in strength easily a 10 lb strength gain right there impressive. Watch that shoulder and biceps though it is normally heavy bench that does the damage that you feel when doing the things like picking up the kids or light objects.

Thanks man! Yeah I have noticed in the past heavy bench hurting biceps. Joints and tendons just felt good on this session. I'll deffinately be keeping an eye on that.

Yes, I was doing heavy BB curls with them, and doing drop set BB curls, and my arms weren't used to the different tension. My forearms got really sore, but my tendons from forearm to elbow was really strained for about 2 mos. it's just now feeling better, maybe this cycle is helping the heeling. I think the fat grips are good, but I really over did it. I think using them on light weight for a while until your used to that tension would be better. Your used to years of gripping the same size BB and DB, so it just needs a little time. I jumped in balls to the wall.

Yes and No, just because I jumped the gun and didn't give myself time to get used to them. I think they hurt my progress, but once I feel I'm fully healed, I'm going back to them at lighter weight. At first you really feel it in forearms and biceps, and you do make progress, meaning bigger and stronger, just don't over do it. If you do some light weight high volume you will see results from it.

No sides except getting a little fatter. I think I need to cut back on calories because I'm not using as many as I'm taking in.
