I really like it, great graphics and cool story. It's pretty easy to not die since you can easily run away and kite. It's sick because you have so many options on how you wanna go about playing the game. You can either kill or control. And have your "captains" becoming warchiefa by killing the warchief or having them ambush the wc. It's complicated to exsplain but it's a pretty sick game.

But at the end of the day DotA still has my full attention.

I didn't want to like it for so long , as when I was a lot younger I used to play magic the gathering. If I have time to game I'll always play hon, if only 30 mins, hearthstone is the way!

I just got into MTG recently with some friends and I'm hooked. Video games have taken a backseat for the foreseeable future.

Destiny is okay, too much gear grinding imo, with maps for the most part having too much emphasis on close range combat, I like my BR and sniper rifle combo, so i'm really looking fwd to the H2 remastered multiplayer, a game i can jump into where it doesn't matter so much about gear but rather skill.

I loved H2. Played on the MLG Pro Circuit back in the day (for what its worth) haha.

Just not sure what I think about Facebook owning them. Scary to think of walking around a virtual world where Facebook is tracking everything you do, look at, talk to, buy, like, .. Oh wait never mind that's real life lol.

Wow, didnt know anybody still played mtg, used to love it, we would get together, cook some steaks and drink beer while playing, but the group that I played with dissipated long time ago, I have thousands of old cards sitting in a box in the closet.

pre tbc and vanilla the game was absolutely amazing. now you can do everything in 10 seconds, its made completely for noobs. there is no skill, no nothing, the only aspect of the game is the longer u play it, the better gear you get. skill means nothing on that game.

Play a MOBA, I recommend Hereos of Newerth. youll get raped for the first couple of months playing until you learn properly, but once you do, god its awesome.

I agree though, I love MMOs, its just a shame WOW has turned into what it has
 
Neverwinter has some good qualities as well. Especially for D&D fans.

Really though, MMOs don't do it for me. It's frustrating letting my game experience be affected by strangers.

once you play a MOBA you never go back. there is always someone / thousands better than you. If you are a competitive person, its perfect

such a terrible terrible game. godly awful. they took a great game (dota) and simplified it to make it noob friendly, just like they did with WoW.

Dota 2 is harder, and better feel.

Heroes of Newerth has the best engine and is incredibly fast game play. If you want a challenge, but the best visual and engine, play HoN. Its so rewarding once you learn it properly
 
I used to play LotRO a lot. I haven't played in a couple years. It seemed to have a pretty good player base and was still challenging. Not sure what changes they've made to it though.

back to topic now. halo4 has ungodly good reviews both story wise and online. that and assassins creed are the competition for game of the year. assassins creed is problyout of your genre though. and the ast games were all very repetitive, but they get better with each sunsequent game. nba 2k13 is badass. if youre into rpg's like me cuz im a super nerd in hiding, get skyrim and probly dishonored. dishonored looks tight and bethesda never fails at rpg games

i beat it in couple days, too easy and should have more environment and story or side missions... i was very let down.. it had potential but they should have put 2x the work into it IMO


love BF4 and 3 . COD is ok, but feels a bit limited and dumbed down. watchdogs seems nice

That's great. The down time was probably awesome. I think I'm going to take my boys (14 & 16) on a couple week trip next summer. I'm thinking a carribean cruise and then head to Seattle to see my mom for a few days/week. So, I'll need to be big and shredded.
 
Borderlands the pre-sequel

The good: all the same stuff as the first 2. Loads of guns, plenty of craziness, better environments than the previous 2. So far a better story (because there is one). A few cool mechanics, and the new playable characters are better, better skills and more variance in perks. Low gravity and oxygen tanks are fun. Can play as a CL4P-TRP so all the invader zim-goodness.

The bad: a bit glitchy right now, they'll patch it though. Not quite as funny as the first two, made by 2k Australia, so a lot of the voices are Australian and sound very similar to my ears.

All in all, if you liked the first two, you'll love this. If you didn't, there's really not enough new stuff to appeal to a new audience.
 
The Evil Within
It is a dark gritty game that is ultra violent. After getting in 30 min of game play I will say that you will die a TON in this game. The graphics are god but I for some reason my tv cant find a darkness balance that complements the game. It has a resident evil 4 feel probably not worth 60 bucks ( as of yet) but I had a 50 dollar gift card and I was getting tired of Destiny.
 
Best part of ac3 was the wife and I making fun of the credits time. Holy 20 mins batman! If your slow you're officially ac3 credit status.
