It would be illegal to import under the bill, so unless you are going to the UK to do a cycle (I've heard that people in Australia take drug holidays to Thailand because of the relative difficulty in getting gear in Australia), buying it won't help.

It makes it truly illegal to make own or sell. They were never really 100% legal more of how a mother will tell a kid " don't touch that button"
Then they go and touch the button right next to it.

If it's a listed as a controlled substance then a US company can not produce or distribute. If it's banned substance they could still produce in US but not distribute in US
 
@_@ this just perpetuates the feminization and demasculization of America. Get ready for a ****ton of hypersensitivity in our society (as if there isn't enough already).
 
It's in reconciliation still I believe. The senate version will add or remove items from the house version. If they alter it theyll have to send it back to the house. I seriously doubt it passes before the end of the current session. Worst case scenario it passes next month and goes into effect next year. Best case it dies like the one last year.

HR4771 passed the House, not the senate yet. Are you taking about he differences in the Senate bill versus the version passed in the House? There were changes when it was introduced to the Senate but it is still HR4771.
 
So is there a good chance that it will not get brought up by the time the bill expires and we'll be good to go? Or is it definitely gonna get brought up and either be pass/no pass

Write your local Senate member and find out: )
 
Likely not going to pass with a very pivotal midterm election coming up and campaign season is in full force, unless something or someone does something stupid with one of these supplements between now and Nov 4th. Then, Senators will fly back for a quick vote in order to look good while those challenging them will scream "I agree! Me Too!". Thats politics (and not just in the US either).

That being said, the fact that this bill was brought up means that it is likely not the last time we will see similar legislation. These are the type of bills that get bi-partisan support, which as we all know is a rarity these days.

New wording: " allows the Attorney General to add other compounds that "promote muscle growth, or marketed in that way" to the list of controlled substances. "


Watch them ban creatine. My creatine bottle says "lean muscle and strength".

Every company out there is going to have to revamp their labels. Preworkouts, creatine, intra's, everything.

No, it doesn't, and no, they aren't.

(i)Temporary and permanent scheduling of recently emerged anabolic steroids
(1) The Attorney General may issue a temporary order adding a drug or other substance to the definition of anabolic steroids if the Attorney General finds that—
(A) the drug or other substance satisfies the criteria for being considered an anabolic steroid under section 102(41) but is not listed in that section or by regulation of the Attorney General as being an anabolic steroid; and
(B) adding such drug or other substance to the definition of anabolic steroids will assist in preventing abuse or misuse of the drug or other substance.
