Vitamins for AM workout, how long to wait etc.

Due to recent changes in my school schedule I now have to workout in the morning.

I was just wondering in regards to vitamins and supplements what i should take in the morning, and what not to take.

I usually take a ton of my vitamins for the day in the morning so if you could offer some insight for me that would be great.

this is what i plan on taking tomorrow morning,

multi vitamin
b12 complex
d3 2000 ui
creatine
l-carnitine
+ 4 eggs wait 30-45 take pre workout and hit the gym, i just dont want any of the vitamins to be conterintuitive to getting a solid pump
any other suggestions?

what is killing me though is the fish oil. i normally take that in the morning and i know its super important for recovery and a lot of other functions.
how long should i wait to take it post work out?

thanks

That looks fine, the only things you would really want to avoid is mega dosing vitamin c or anti-inflammatories before lifting. A multi will be fine and nothing else listed will impede progress

The fish oil you are correct about, ideally take it 4+ hours away

Thanks for the response! I appreciate it. Beginner questions but hey at least now I know. One more thing, the difference between digestive enzymes and probiotics? I hear a lot of people take them with big meals to help with the protein break down. I just recently started taking probiotics because I have had the protein runs from too much protein, apparently my body can't handle it. It's crazy because I'm supplementing with fiber as well and eating a ton of broccoli. But if someone could enlighten me on the difference between the two and when to take them me and my stomach would appreciate it!

Probiotics will give you beneficial bacteria in your GI tract to help balance things out, processed foods/sugars can promote the growth of bad bacteria.

Translates to less bloating, better absorption. Once a day dosing

Digestive enzymes are just that, extra enzymes. If you are eating large meals your body may not be producing enough to properly break it all down, these would be dosed with meals and also limit bloating.

If I had to use just one I would stick to probiotics.
EvoMuse Gut Health is my go-to

Sounds like your GI bacteria is out of whack. The body tries to reach a homeostatic (balanced) ratio of the different gut bacteria and if one blooms more and upsets this ratio it can cause a whole host of problems ranging from digestion issues (like you seem to be experiencing) to skin rashes and mental issues. Maintaining the proper gut bacteria ratio is as important as any other aspect of our bodybuilding lifestyles in my opinion. Ingesting pro-biotics are a good start but you should also look into pre-biotics. Basically a pre-biotic is akin to fertilizer or fuel to encourage the growth of the proper gut bacteria. One such pre-biotic is (FOS) Fructooligosaccharide. FOS is indigestible by our bodies, it gets transported to the large intestine where it feeds microbes and promotes fermentation. FOS has been dubbed a "prebiotic", essentially serving as
fertilizer for the bacteria in your colon. Certain lactobacillus species of bacteria have been shown to preferentially ferment FOS. For this reason, it is being promoted as a supplement to feed the good bacteria in our guts.
I would suggest you continue to use the pro-biotic of your choice but also add in a pre-biotic like I have outlined above. Check out MUSCLE FIBER by FINAFLEX .... it has just what you need in this regard. ;)

Correct
take fishoils away from training,
Creatine you can take anytime
D3, b12, and multi you could take anytime, if you want to push away from training you can.

I would not take the fishoil post-workout or pre-workout there are some sources out there showing you not to take it around training. I would stick to later in the day for that

"Training is inflammatory, and believe it or not, we WANT inflammation as that is part of the mechanism behind cuing repair. As fish oil is anti-inflammatory, we do not want to dose it immediately pre or post workout."

L-Carn i would drop and personally invest in a better whey protein (or put it towards whey) to help reach protein intake.

That all looks good man, I have been training a pretty much a similar schedule for the past two years. If you are feeling groggy in the morning you could add some Amp Citrate to that and it may help focus and drive. I take my fish oil with my breakfast and I still get great pumps, but if you want to take it post workout thats fine, just add it to your PW meal.
