Forgot to add...today is the first day of reverse dieting. I will be adding in 100 calories at a time to build up my metabolism. Time to put on some muscle!! I would really not like to add any fat at all so I'll be watching everything closely. Ideally, I'd like to lean out while gaining muscle! I'm open for any tips or suggestions because I have NEVER done this and am a little nervous. I'm excited to see more muscle though!
Question for you.

How do you track calories? Do you meal prep on Sundays and stay on track or do IIFYM?

I have a plan all the way till Supper time but then my Fiancé wants to eats "healthy but different each night".

Sometimes it really ****s my schedule up.

I use fitpal to track my calories and meal prep most everything on Sundays. Dinner is more free and open but I buy the groceries, so I decide what we eat! Lol (well....at least I can buy things for me if they want something crappy) It's definitely challenging when other family members are involved in the meal! I try to keep extra grilled chicken or fish prepped for back ups.

I hear ya haha. I just cooked up 4 lbs of ground beef for the week!

Haha perfect! That surely won't be near enough though. Lol Gotta get some chicken, turkey or something too! I have around 7lbs of protein a week! O.o

Oh of course! Gotta cook up 3 lbs of chicken and then 6 eggs for breakfast each day. :D

5 meals are exactly the same every day. The 6th I'll reserve the option to change my lean protein and good carb sources that way if I want a nice steak over ground beef or if I want pork loin I can do that.

Glad I'm not the only one that eats the same everyday. Dinner is always different, but clean.
 
I've learned in my dieting that there are a few things that I move around like break I always have an omelet but it's ether waffles, oatmeal or toast with jam
Lunch I'd sandwich, salad a quest bar or yogurt and some fruit

Have u try pb2 I just got It and let me tell u it's a game changer lol 45 calories 2grams of fat man is it good

Heck yeah! I love it! Actually put 1T in my oatmeal with a teaspoon of cocoa powder and my protein powder! So yummy!!

I have oatmeal every morning. A whole cup with 14grams of pecans, 20 grams raisins, and a scoop of Snickerdoodle protein powder. I've always loved oatmeal. Then a banana, protein shake and tablespoon of pb.

That's a pretty hearty breakfast. Throw in some bacon or sausage and you'd have a bulk-worthy breakfast
 
Right now my maint is around 3400 cals. Seems high for someone who is only 189lbs and 51 years old. But, any less and I lose weight.

I think that's pretty awesome! A high metabolism is a good thing!
 
Good morning! Made it to my calorie goal yesterday! It was hard but I made it! Lol Today was back day. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to do Deadlifts yesterday as my lower back cramped up pretty quickly. Oh well, pushed through. This low volume feels so weird but I moved some decent weight so I'm happy. It has it's purpose!

Jennie-o turkey is the best brand my wife found. Oscar Meyer turkey bacon is another great brand.
Jennie O is good and the honeySucke white is good too! Oscar Meyer is the ONLY turkey bacon worth a damn in my opinion.

I think you should start a new on or have this one moved if in the weight loss section. Otherwise how will the women who wont to gain mass find you and learn? Don't worry about being convenient to us boys we will follow you happily.

I'm hoping with this switch I'll be able to get rid of the fat more easily! Figured my body was begging for a switch after an 8-9 year long deficit!

You already are looking amazing I can't wait to see how you look with a bit more muscle. Are you moving this thread or starting a new one when you begin going for the mass?
