For the most part I rest 2 min between sets and heavy pressing and only 1 min between sets on the raises
I had no weight change on the presses but had more control/better form. Got an insane pump from doing drop sets. Was actually uncomfortable. Was like a high rep squat day in my delt kinda feeling
I'm sure that makes no sense

On another note, a guy I work w approached me and asked how "the juice" is working. I laughed. He replied w "seriously bro text me a list of everything u r on". He is a crossfire guy. Does crossfire constitute "lifting heavy". He thinks it does

He is a stim guy so I'll give him a sample o the STIMUL8 and try to spread the good word

you don't mean "crossfit" do you? that's what I would assume, but then when you describe it as "lifting heavy" I think hmmm nope not crossfit.... :D

nope it doesn't. Could be my STIMUL8 kicking in but that was funny. He goes to a cross fit gym pays 120 a month for facility and classes. Such a fad. He does bi athalons and rides road bike a lot and looked better 3 months ago when he just went to the gym and lifted normal. Oops I just dropped a kettle ball on my foot

dont know why but the stretch is so nice. I use a gym for legs only. Rest of my workouts I do at home. Once I buy a power rack I'll drop the gym. But it is open 24 hr key coded door and in walking distance of my house. I got some real odd looks doin the stiff legged deads. But they have peeps using those heavy ropes like whips and I tip my head like a puzzled dog when I see that.

i used the elevated platform. I see another guy do them on the platform and he has legs like a red wood. It is located at the entrance/egress to a 55 plus community. It is not part of the community. It is on the main road and I am not geriatric just to clear that up. So they cater to that demographic. And of course offer the latest fads(crossfit). And those damn ropes. And I get the odd looks and questions...."why do you take your sneakers off when u do those squat things? What if you drop a weight on your toe?"
 
Lol. I'm right there with you. Sounds identical to my gym, and I too squat and pull in socks.

I feel full when I eat food. Not so much when I only grab 2 scoops of whey. I down 6 20oz bottle of water throughout the day to "feel full". And I have sadly never been "cut". Even in mid 20's 5'6" 185lb 28" w could bench 3 wheels for sets of 6, same for squat but 10 reps, and deads were 365 for 6-8. I looked blocky as hell. As if my hips are wider in proportion to chest/shoulders. I don't eat very clean when I eat real food. Cross I bear being a stupid ass fussy eater.
 
Take me to Mc D's and I'll grab 3 double cheese ketchup only no fries but I'll grab lg choc shake. I crave protein but junk as well
 
A lot of us do, and I think almost everyone starts out that way. After repetitions of forcing yourself to eat better you no long crave, and may even come to despise some of those foods. If I eat junk I crave more of it.

exactly. The more trash I eat the more I want. Like food crack! If I eat junk food I feel hung over As if I drank a ton the night before.

Wow, that's going deep. I 'm usually about an inch or 2 off my shoulders. For me, lower doesn't feel right no matter what weight. You gonna have Boulder Shoulders soon!

Yeah BIG is the plan! We'll see how that goes Right when I start to see gains my neck and back act up. Trying to avoid down time from lifting.
When I descend I turn my palms in toward my shoulders. Gives me a better stretch w out that awkward "oh my I'm gonna pop something" feeling! Not a full 90 degree rotation. Almost 45 degrees. Get awkward at first but seems to work

Whew DB lunges with 90's. That's a workout! Those wind me more than any exercise...I don't do them anymore. Kudos to you for doing them!

not a big fan of leg presses! Bothers my lower back and my knees feel like they r going to explode regardless of what foot positioning I try. I do walking lunges. Again gettin funny looks from those at the gym. 12 steps is a set. Apparently I use too much space. Lol.

My gym is great! If you want to do deads then get out in the pathway, frees up the rack and people can go around. Drag a bench to where you want it without getting funny looks. It's a norm at the gym I go to. Besides, who cares what someone else thinks. I'm there to get the best workout I can. I pay my dues so it's not like "they" are doing "me" a favor!

Co worker of mine commented on my delts so I pitched the MASS 550 He seems receptive and I'm sure will "google" the crap out of it. He was at choice fitness which use to be Golds in out area(Massachusetts) doing cable flys. He's early 30's, not a meat head, pretty decent kid soft spoken. So he had one set left and was working around one of those peeps who leaves something everywhere they are in the gym. She had left her water bottle next to the low pulley in the uprights. While he is in mid set she reaches in and picks up her things. Mind u he was there first and she dropped her water bottle there to "claim" her spot. He had head phones on and couldn't hear what she was saying as he was doing he flys. After, he asked her not to get in the way of some ones range of motion in mid set. It is not safe. More so for her if he let go. She then says what u gonna fight a woman at the gym. So he puts the earbuds back in and continues to work out hitting abs b4 he leaves. As he is walking out a portly older gent walks in demanding to know who insulted his wife. My bud replied there was no yelling or insults. He merely tried to explain gym etiquette! The guy went off on him. He explained exactly what she did. Reaching into his range O motion in mid set and the fat guy replied that it gives him no excuse to yell at his wife! It takes all kinds I guess! And yes my gym does suck. It is a douchey gym. It's like the purple palace w out the lunking alarm. I only go for the leg equip. Sad I go there one day a week and every time I get a dumb question or attitude. I so need a spit on the floor punch holes in the wall kinda place!
 
Oh and the whey is choc and Gatorade is the original green Gatorade lem/lime I think. Like the sugar spike to kick the pancreas into gear and throw me some insulin. I'm a true believer in the "anabolic nutrient timing factor". First read of it on AST-SS web site and saw same article on AM.com. Don't know who wrote or who referenced the article but I am a believer! (Maybe Paul Cribb???).

I just add Dextrose powder to my pre. And again to my post.

while I understand the notion to skip certain lifts because of nagging or even lagging body parts. there is a lot to be said for the proper use of equipment. I will not speculate what may be the cause of your knees giving you the business. I would offer a unique set of experience as I once had my l4-5 disk operated on. I worked for yrs to reach a max of 295 squatting ass to grass for reps. no easy feat with such a terrible posterior chain. a few yrs back I was warming up for leg day and inadvertently tore my calf and hamstring. since then I havnt been able to squat without sever pain in the tie ins of both and decided not to risk another potential tear. I have since moved away from squatting and almost exclusively to various leg pressing platforms. im a bit of an old schooler that cut his teeth using the poliquin principles. bpak is one disciple who has a very unique and thorough way of explaining some of the reasons behind the strength coaches approach to strength and mass. give some time watching this MI40 university videos as they may have you reaching new heights with a leg press and other specialized leg equipment.

Ever since I "made chest my bitch" 3 Fridays ago I have been exp more n more pain in right trap. Oddly where it ties into shoulder at delt. No swelling but u can press on it and I yelp
Trap is hard as a rock. My wife worked the area w the red tiger balm after a shower. Felt better but I know I'm missin work sat. Have appointment w a chiro who was a collegiate power lifter. Glad to find a guy who isn't a douche and won't just tell me to do a Jane Fonda work out and not lift heavy
Can't wait for mon at 10:00am
