Doggcrap, myokem and ... a tyga?

No need to apologize. I've read a good amount on HBCD for intra (better paired with EAAs/ bulk leucine/HICA) and if you got the dough throw in casienates (pepto) but like I've said I've gone the route of carbs intra with Bcaa/EAA blend before and haven't noticed a notable impact on my recovery. And my trainings on point (we all say that though don't we?) What I find funny is, meadows, the man who got this movement started, and talks about recovery is on copious amount of AAS. So his "recovery" is sped up REGARDLESS of what his "intra" supplements are. Like I said I'm on the fence. I may give it a go again.

If you truly have looked into it, and researched it (which I believe you have) then I respect your stance.....but sooooo many weenees on here, even "smart" ones, discredit the idea while they are comparing apples to oranges.

And people like Hany and FST-7 use Karbolyn (glycoject) is mainly bc his FST-7 protocols call for the use of insulin & IGF-1. Which is a different objective all together.

Like I said, I'm on the fence. I'm ordering my strive tomorrow, and may just spring for some HBCD to see if I notice anything this go-around.

If I do, I'll note it in this thread. No shame in being wrong, pride isn't a thangggg
 
Side note* woke up ridiculously hungry this morning. I'll give it another couple days to see if my appetite continues to increase, if so, we know the MAGNITROPIN is legit. My strength has continued to increase, so something is working for sure.

Yesterday I lowered my carbs, didn't feel like like have 315g on an off day (usually I do) so my macros looked like this yesterday

Fat- 68g
Cho- 220g
Pro-208g

Looks so yummy!!! :D Just a question. My bodybuilder friend said that Asians have thicker skin so it's harder to look defined. Do you think it's true? I feel like my skin is not as elastic.

Ok, my training partner for RTS is ending his 20 week block next Friday. So, we will start together the following Monday after that. Not as soon as I wanted lol

Tonight was lower body

Hack squat (lb per side)
90x10 (added 10lbs with the same weight)
Good mornings
95x15 (added 10lb to total, same amount of reps)
Hack squat calf raise
15x15
Hammer curl (bar)
70x12 (failed reps here, will subtract 5lb to meet reps- usually you'd drop the exercise and switch to another, but I only have a week left)
Incline db curl
35x6+4+4 =14

No cardio tonight because me and the wife are looking at houses to buy.

Also, I took two scoops NITRAMINE tonight, and that is where it's at! That was a whole new level of focused and veinage. Going to do that again Saturday lol tomorrow is an off day

Another thing I want to point out is intra carb use for ME and other veteran AM users is for recovery. The faster I recover the faster I can retrain that muscle and the more opportunity for growth. 9/10 people on here don't train hard enough to warrant intra carb use. Not to mention it has NOTHING to do with endurance. The other half of those people nutrition sucks during the day so they don't even need to be worried about intra carbs regardless

I've never used intra-carbs for overall recovery. Could give a f*ck less; my training split is set up to protect my joints/ligaments and CNS. I use them STRICTLY for an increase in strength-endurance. And they absolutely make a difference in that regard, for me, especially on maximum-effort days. You could argue that if I set up my preWO meal to contain the allotted carbs I wouldn't need the drink. And to you I say: I FEEL better, and feel I perform better, splitting it up the way I am. I'm interesting in training as hard as possible, and I'm going to do whatever gets that done best for me. IDGAF about what somebody THINKS my nutrition should be. I'm doing what's getting me results.

I know this isn't directed at me, but to say it has nothing to do with endurance is, frankly, just your personal findings. And mine differ.

Fully agree with you hyde. I could hit it a LOT harder with karbolyn or Vitargo or even Gatorade. My coach says use intra so guess who's gonna keep doing it?

No ya weenee, I said ME for endurance. Intra carbs can help greatly with endurance. Too many ppl get caught into that "trap" it's people who comment on it with no eff'in clue what intra carbs can do that irk me.

Haha I'm sorry if I took that wrong then. And you're certainly right about people who barely understand basic nutrition going by whatever they hear. Young guys spending 40 bux on a tub of carbs and they're only eating 2 meals/day of crap. Buy a $3 tub of quick oats and some chicken and eggs and tuna and get some more meals in. But a lot of youngins are more concerned w/ shelling out their college fund for a primo supp and not focusing on the proven stuff.

I only use one serving of protein a day, and use minimal supplements. Use to want to try the "latest and greatest" everytime something dropped. Now I'm to the basics,

ofiber (don't even have to take this but I do)

And the supplements that work for me (and have clinicals)

Plus, I'd rather eat food than drink calories.

Saturday was upper body work. To lazy to grab my note book and look up weights and reps. I know that everything increased again. Some exercises was weight AND reps. It could be synergy within the MAGNITROPIN or the -(-)epi alone, but for this being a natty supp, I'm straight gettin it.

This is my last week on DC and next Monday I start RTS (first week being a prime week and figuring my RPE/auto regulation)

Tonight is lower body (skwatz) so get ready for a vid :)

Question, I eat 1/2 to a whole avocado a day. Anybody else love avocados like I do?
 
Yumm!! I love avocados but I don't eat them but maybe 1x a week. I want to try to bake and egg in the middle like this...

Helluva idea right there. Going to have to try that Yeah it does! ive seen this before! I don't really eat whole eggs anymore because I like my fats from other sources lolol

That's how I do man. I love my different fat sources. I like my yokes too but avocados, nut butters, fatty meat.. The occasional strip of bacon.... Yeah... Can't just eat the same sources every day it makes dieting miserable

You guys can actually still taste food? Damn, you're lucky. It's all the same to me any more. I just worry about getting the right kind of fuel in the tank nowadays. :(

Awesome lower body day. The MAGNITROPIN has definitely kicked. Noticed during my tabata that my endurance is up, my strength continues to climb and my appetite has definitely increased as well.

Squats
245x8 (increased 5lbs + 1 rep more than last cycle) ridiculous quad pump
Lying leg curl
37.5x17 (increased reps)

Bb curl (body english/cheat curls) had a stupid pump going

I've been doing this for about 18 years. Entered 3 shows, won 3 shows. North American All Naturals was going to be my next show, but a year or so ago, I decided that I was done competing. I own a chain of fitness equipment stores that takes my full attention. Competing just wasn't worth it to me anymore. The body is starting to feel the effects of the continual heavy training and was starting to revolt. Was also a matter of too much time, money, and energy spent to lose sales in my stores to only add another trophy to the mantle. I train clients for shows still, so I live my competing itch through them. Lol.
