Garbage article. Almost every point is arguable, and the last point is outright wrong. Here is an article about a nutrition professor who lost 27 lb in 10 weeks eating nothing but Twinkies and Doritos, simply by counting calories. The caveat is, you have to count calories carefully. It's very easy to go over on a junk food diet, much more difficult to go over if you're eating clean. Invalid Link Removed
When are they going to have an article about 7 myths about the myths that we all believe when dieting?

This article is awful. They disproved that not eating breakfast is detrimental to weight loss. Food has a thermic effect, protein has a higher thermic effect than say fat. It doesn't matter when you consume these calories because the thermic effect of food is proportional to intake and not time of intake.

I don't believe that for one minute. There is no way your body is going to utilize the protein fully if you just ate one large meal of it in a day. The human body is a bit ore complex than what you are portraying it as. Foods are handled differently by your body when used in different combinations and at different times. If it was so simple, there wouldn't be so many bs articles like this one about diet.

Although it doesn't matter when you eat it is proven the best method to lose weight is to eat every two hours to keep metabolism working.. Also breakfast is important to "kick start" your metabolism in the morning.. Yea you can lose weight by not eating but you won't keep that weight off.. Diets don't work lifestyle modifications do!
