Nice AB, still playin with the weights I see. No idea how you keep the bar so low on your back. Don't think I'm flexible enough to reach that far back lol! Keep rollin' big man...
 
That's Trivium. Heavy metal is where it's at.
Kept it light while still recovering and it's funny because I transitioned to low bar rigjt before nationals. Bar use to sit on my traps and neck. Quad dominate. Switched to low bar.. way better but hard to get use to

Sittin at 258 too so plenty more room to grow. I like how I dropped 30lbs and still just as strong
 
Damn what a squat/bench day!!! First day back on the Diesel Method so volume was the key. Weight felt really light today and joints felt good. Lungs not so much lmao
Squats (RAW)
225x8 paused beltless
315x5 beltless
405x5 beltless
500x5
505 paused single
525 paused single
455x8 beltless
The 8th rep was cake but I was breathing heavily.

Bench wasnt too impressive. Went to 315x5 and worked up to 425 paused with the slanger. Joints felt great so that's all that mattered today.
 
Training update!!!

So a couple years back I fractured my tailbone pretty good. Like a dumbass I didn't do anything about it and it healed ****ed up. Every now and then it flares up and it's hard to walk, bend or do anything. Hurts... Etc. Right now it's that time... and I didn't even want to go to the gym BUT.... I gotta bring my A game in November.

Today was Squat and Bench day... Bench I kept it light and did some pause work with 335 for reps... I couldn't seat on the bench rigjt from so much pain.
Squats shined tho... I managed to nail 500 for 8 belt only... A couple minutes later 520 for 5. I know I could have kept going but again my cardio sucks... Time to puke...
 
Sorry to hear AB... hope the pain subsides... Those are big numbers when you are in pain from a tailbone injury... (well they are big numbers anyway lol).

263lbs still 20 down from my heaviest. Getting strong tho

Training highlights this week at 20lbs lighter

550x3 RAW Squat which was cake. I was just exhausted.
250x4 standing OH press
635x3 beltless deadlift
350x3 paused bench
 
Alright... I competed this weekend and killed it. I didn't expect much from this meet because my hip is injured.
This was my first meet in the open category and competed RAW no wraps at 260lbs which puts me in 275bw category.

Squat:
600 got 3 whites
617 got 3 whites
638 got 3 whites

Bench:
365 got 3 whites
380 got 3 whites
400 got 3 whites

Deadlift:
655 got 3 whites
675 got 2 reds for soft knees... Should have counted but w e.
I decided to go up to 700 and it flew up quicker than my 675. Could have pulled 730 :-/ 3 whites

Took 1st Place and Best overall RAW lifter by Wilks
