Talked to a guy at one of my gyms for a good while tonight doing that show actually, but he'll be in bodybuilding age 35-40 I believe. He's in the 225lb & up - said he's sitting at 255 right now, 9 days out. Prob 6'0-1". Pretty big dude; his arms actually outshine everything. Said he's put on 10lbs of stageweight since last year!

After that he tried to tell me he was a fitness model and how he was in magazines or some other bull$hit. Told me he pulls more tail than me...

Do any of u know if the rock put his own money into the Hercules movie? Someone told me that but I was having trouble verifying it. I see some places saying things like "MGM has released a second trailer for the Dwayne Johnson-fronted Hercules to IGN this morning." But I can't find anything actually talking about it.

That is stupid funny. I can't relate to that guy at all really, but I love that he does things his way - if you go around bending over to please everyone, you're never gonna get yours. You're just gonna keep taking it up the pipe, & prob won't even get a reach-around. This life is too short to worry about what other people think.

My brother is about to step on stage in Pittsburgh in hopes of becoming an IFBB pro. He is so much better than Dallas a few months ago. Looks amazing for almost 42!!!

Prejudging he entered the 35 class and the 40 class. He got first call outs in both classes. Top two automatic IFBB!!! F ucking exciting!!!

Sucks he didn't get it this time, but the reality is if he really has what it takes to compete at a Pro level, it's only a matter of time - looking damn good, IMHO. He'll get it if he keeps doing what he's doing, no doubt.

He definately has the drive and commitment to become a pro. He has a good coach and DD helped with a cycle change which helped him packed on 10lbs in 10 weeks. He won't stop!!

What's he squat? Totally irrelevant, but I can't see his legs. It can be a rep-max, jw. Upper body has the thickness & his hips push his shorts out pretty good.

He's told me over 500lbs for reps, DL over 400 for 12 reps, incline bb over 300 for reps, 183 lbs.

Very cool, great squatting & pressing for his weight. I'm always curious to see how strong different builders are compared to how their muscles look. Because you certainly don't need to be that strong to build good muscle....but seems like it sure would help.

And at any weight, that'd be impressive in any average commercial gym. I realize it's totally irrelevant, other than seeing progression to continue to challenge the muscles, but it's still pretty cool (to someone like me, anyway).

I tend to agree with this but I'm so damn competitive I want to throw around heavy ****, and I think if you look like you can lift heavy **** you probably should be able to.

It's kinda like a great mechanic that drives a honda civic. Doesn't make much sense if you catch my drift.
