First off i have searched a couple different forums before i came to this one like T nation, etc and liked this one the best. I have searched about the product that i am using and PCT and feel like the guy i get my gear from is on the up and up and i can trust him but The more i read across the boards about PCT, cycling etc i just thought the hell with it, and i will post a newb thread and try and get some concrete anwers as i have seen a few different things.
I have been training almost 6 months now. I go 5 days a week, here is my breakdown.
Monday Chest and tris
Tuesday Back and bis
Wednesday Cardio and abs
Thursday shoulders
Friday Legs
Sat/sun rest
I was talked into getting into the gym from a friend and immidiately started to hit it hard. I weighed 162 and was out of shape. I trained about 2.5 months and dropped down to 149 (mostly lost stomach fat)
I then decided i wanted to start growing back and bulking up. At about 2.5 months in i started to use whey protein, casein protein, bcaa, preworkout etc
My diet is as follows
7am
1 cup oatmeal and 2 tbsp pb
1 cup greek yogurt
multivitamin
fish oil
horsechestnut pill for bloodflow to legs (poor circulation)
9 30am
1 slice whole grain bread
2 tbsp pb
25g protein shake
12pm
2 slices whole grain bread
3 slices deli chicken or turkey
1 slice deli cheese
1 cup 4% milkfat cottage cheese
fish oil
2 pm
21g protein bar
3 25 pm
preworkout
BCAA intra workout
50g whey protein shake post workout
7pm
2 tilapia filets with lemon pepper and virgin olive oil
1 baked sweet potato and a small salad
multivitamin
fish oil
Get at least a gallon of water a day
Before bed
50g casein protein with whole milk
I stay pretty true to my diet during the week, weekends arent as tight and i rarely drink
I am a hardgainer, and even though i researched really believe i should have tried more direct supplements like Creatine, before i began a cycle
My other friend who is a user for 6 years, and who i get my info/gear from is who got me thinking to go a little further
i did a cycle of BPI sports A HD, and then planned to just go off. He kind of put it that if i am having trouble getting mass, that i could consider the alternative. Looking back, i should have trained a couple years and waited to plateau but i didnt so here we are.
He has used a lot of dif gear. He likes sustanon 250 and says he had good results. He recommended i do a partial cycle to see the gains and since i was on test support A Hd, to maybe only go 4-6 weeks. I had seen many side effects of gyno, acne, teste shrinkage, cancer etc etc and decided if done right i would be legit. But the more i read the more i am not sure if his cycling methods are solid. I asked wether he would recommend clomid or nolvadex for PCT, as well as if there was something i should take intra that would decrease the chance of gyno. He says he has no problem cycling off clean in his years, and if anything bad happends to go to gnc and get test release pills. He recommended 1cc twice per week. I am on the third week of the cycle, and have had some results, no side effects that i am aware of yet. I just want to get a better idea if this dosage is ok, and if PCT is a must, what to do, etc.
Thinking now i really should have waited until i hit hard plateaus but i didnt. Im 27 years old, as another fact and just want to make sure i am doing this as properly as i can.
I am sure with more in depth searches i can find instances close to this one but i was hoping you gurus would formulate a response that is direct to my situation.
