Those pumps are nice or the ones where you can't get your arms to your head because the pump has you so tight.
 
After an arm day when it's hard to sling the gym bag over your shoulder, or hold your phone to your head....doing it right ;)

Leg day this morning!!

Only 4 hours of sleep last night, but I peeled myself out of bed and got work done!

I was able to add more volume to my lower weight sets on front squats and still hit 3 sets of 315x2 after, so I was happy with that.

New PR on leg press, 920x12! Hit up 4 sets total for 12,10,10,8

Followed up with leg extension and leg curls, some improvements but nothing noteworthy

Then hit seated calf raises for 5 sets, made a little progress, up to 125x15 for all 5 sets, time to increase the weight!

Then did standing calf raises, hit 400x20,20,19, up 2 reps on the second set and 20lbs on the third set. Time to up the weight on this too. Had some great progress on my calves lately!
 
PRs, being kept up late and looking shredded = living large! Nice work Swanks!

That's how I Guage my bicep work big dog. If I can still touch my shoulders by the end I've got more work to do lol :p

hasn't given me any problems at all on an empty stomach!
 
Yeah I have used on an empty stomach and feels great. No nausea from being to acidic or over stimmed.
 
Personally, no distress on an empty stomach, & I still feel it good if I take it half an hour after a bowl of oats on a full stomach too. Very versatile/friendly.
 
Great arm workout today! Hit up 5 sets incline db curls supersetted with dips, 4 sets preacher curls supersetted with machine overhead tricep extensions and then 5 sets preacher reverse barbell curls supersetted with tricep rope push downs.

My arms were soooooo tight after this workout

That's Awesome as some preworkouts tend to mess with people's stomachs. Good to hear that there hasn't been any issues :)
 
Have to take a short break from lifting this week, stress has me losing a lot of sleep and feeling pretty sick. I will pick it back up next week Monday after I get my head sorted out a little better.

Yeah Sir Swanks-A -Lot get yourself together and come back and crush it. I don't think week in the middle of a preworkout log is going to be detrimental at all. Except maybe people will be more pumped to hear your experiences. (Pun Intended)

Ok, guys, back at it today with a quick but killer chest and shoulder workout! Had a killer pump and strength was pretty good considering the volume of stress I've been under and my overall severe lack of sleep. Going to try to power through it from here on out and do my best every single day.
 
There's a line in Tool's 46 & 2 that says, "Do what it takes to get through"....Idk why, but that line has always stuck hard with me, whenever things are tough & the only way out is to keep your head down & keep plugging on. There will be a light at the end of the tunnel. There always is.

Hit up some bis/tris today. My motivation is basically non-existent but was able to power through a pretty good session thanks to Conqu3r! I swear if it wasn't for my lifting buddy and this pwo I would have never gotten up from my desk this afternoon. Got a great pump on and still hitting 20-25 reps with the 90# db on overhead tri extensions so I was cool with that.

I'm really hoping that things start to go better here soon, the stress has been overwhelming.

If any of you are god fearing folk, please say a prayer or two for my soon to be ex to accept the divorce settlement proposal I'm sending over to her. Once my divorce is final, then my fiancee can move up here and we'll get on with our lives, but if she insists on dragging it to court it could be over a year before it's through which means that my relationship is either going to be very delayed or worse.

I'm hoping and praying daily for a happy ending to all of this, but the future is so terribly uncertain right now.
 
Prayers for you Swanky! After having been through divorce myself I can only tell you there is a better life ahead. Keep lifting but keep your mind on the iron. It's too easy to get hurt when your mind wanders to problems!

Alright had a really mediocre back day yesterday and my chest day was just as lack luster today. My heart just hasn't been in it.

But I got some great news from my lawyer today and it looks likely that we are going to be able to settle quickly outside of court!

I'm feeling a lot better, stress level is down to a much more manageable level. Shoulders are getting fawkin slammed tomorrow! I'm coming back damn it!!!!

first good workout in weeks. Not up to the same volume i was at but I will get it back up there!! I hit up DB shoulder press, db lateral raises, db front raises, and db reverse flyes. I did 6-7 working sets for each exercise. Got a really good pump and got a nice sweat going too, so I'm feeling pretty good about that!

I'm going to do my best to get a relatively early night in tonight so I can get up and hit legs at the gym in the am.

Last night was the best sleep in almost a month ( since the last time I was with my lady)
 
I was up super late last night on the phone with my lady looking at properties online. She is going to buy a house up here for us so that when she moves up we have a place of our own. Also set a date of 12/13/14 at 15:16 to get married as long as everything goes smoothly with the divorce from here out. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed and saying prayers morning, noon, and night!

Was up til about 1am so I just couldn't drag my a$$ out of bed at 4 to hit the gym to save my life. lol. I will def be hitting up a good workout tomorrow morning though!!
