I plan on taking niacin and magnesium again this week. Maybe tht helped some.
Niacin from the doctor, right? I just discovered that Inositol Hexanicotinate (flush-free otc niacin) can still be called niacin because it's still B3, but difference in compound structure compared to straight niacin, which will flush you, is that it has no noted effects on lipid levels. Niacin at 1500mg-3g/day significantly lowers bad cholesterol while raising good, but flush-free (Inos Hex) doesn't do jack, even at those doses. It's just a B vitamin, which you can get from your food & a general B complex just fine.
Just mentioning this so nobody else gets tricked & wastes their money/time.
