Dave, looking forward. What do you plan on focusing on for next show....conditioning, posing, brining up certain body parts?
For my June 7th show it will be overall size, tricep, chest and back. Those are our focus right now. We will use the June 7th show as a tweak show for the 2 shows on June 14th. My coach want to experiment with another way of peaking to see how it works for me. Just to know. We are still learning how my body peaks and once that is figured out I will be unstoppable.

i just always think of it as forward progress and that's the end goal haha, I know u have to wait for the last show to really start slapping it on. When is the next one again? I forget the dateNot yet homie. After my last show it's on. 240 or die trying. I need to keep my stage weight around 225 so 240 @10-12% is the goal

After your final show don't try to gain thirty pounds in a week.
Coming from a natural competitor, all it does is make you fat, bloated, puffy, and depressed.
I'm not saying you can't gain thirty pounds, I'm just saying you should try to do it a little slower than a week because it won't be quality weight..
The slower you add it back on the more likely it'll be good, lean muscle.
I have no idea how different your rebound will be since you're on AAS, I'm just giving you me .02 cents Dave.
15lb really isnt that much considering a huge chunk of that is just water and glycogen being refilled. 8-10lb easy

I'm not saying he gained fat overnight, he didn't.
But to gain that and then another fifteen to twenty in a week is putting on serious fat. That's what I warned him against.
If you've ever competed in bodybuilding (multiple times) you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
the body wants to get back to it's set weight and will gain weight as fast as possible, it doesn't care if it's muscle or fat.
Gaining a bunch of fat as a physique athlete isn't a good idea. John Meadows JUST wrote an article about it

The next time around I took four to five months to gain that thirty pounds and it was 100% a better result.
Again, I don't know how much different it'll be for him since he's enhanced and I'm not. I assume he can get away with more weight gained and it'll be clean.
yep Ive made this mistake as well... 16week hard diet followed by week long binge/bender and adding 30lb in two weeks. felt like shiit, looked like shiit.

I know a lot of guys that go this routeGrow into the show! Currently going this route myself....should be show ready about four weeks out then start adding cals back in the closer we get to show time. Great discussion btw.

I cut from mid 220s and after depleting I filled out fast once I hit carbs and water with a vengeance. Throw in sodium and bam 15lbs. After cleaning my diet up Tuesday and restarting my injections I am actually coming back down in weight. I have eaten 5 meals today and a gallon of water already and lost 5lbs from morning weight. My striations are back. I am reverse dieting out of show as I enter a 3-4 month cruise of just test. Maybe some mast. Once my weight goes steady my coach will have me grow into show like I did for this last one. Trust me I know how easy it is to gain fat fast after a cut. BUT I'm here to win and even when my coach gave me the go ahead to binge I didn't go all out. Just a few things I wanted to satisfy my cravings.
