TGR's Cheetos Chraining

It's pollen time here. You guys had so much rain, I bet the mold/mildew is now an issue. When I wore glasses they sometimes would cause my eyes to get tired/itchy just due to vision correction.

I figured part of it was the strain my eyes were going through adjusting. Maybe it'll get better in time.

Notes

I eat lots of chicken, and this week I'm having some cottage cheese and Greek yogurt for breakfast. I could probably eat cottage cheese all day. I haven't had it in a while, but I also like tuna. I feel the same when it comes to red meats. Unfortunately, I don't do much red meat.
I just saw a recipe for a tuna type burger on YouTube. It is so delicious and easy as hell to make. You just brown it on the stove.

I don't know if it's allergies or what, but my eyes have been so irritated and itchy in the afternoons and evenings the last couple days. Could also be that this is normal for getting used to glasses? Anyone else that wears glasses (or not) experience this? The doc said after I stopped medicated drops it would take a while for my eyes to get used to not having them, but my right eye has been droplets for a little while. I'm going to try and put my OTC eye drops in every couple hours today and see if the helps, instead of doing it only when they feel dry. Grr.
No, my wife and I have the same issue! Mine has been going for weeks and hers just started last week. We both don't wear glasses, one day it even hurt cause it burned to close my eyes, crazy. Oh and nice workout! That's some great weight on the meadows rows and hitting the 100 on DB rows, your back got worked!

Great session!

Have you ever tried the allergy shots? I love it! Sometimes my eyes get extremely itchy and it gets so annoying. Benadryl has been helping me and so has hydrocortisone.

Insane volume! Very nice brother! This on low calories should shred you quickly.

That sounds so good. May have that tonight.

Hmm. Maybe it's allergy then.

Thanks Pere!

Thanks, and no. I take a generic allergy because I'm allergic to some soaps and that helps me from itching. Maybe I need to try Zytrec or something similar, and if that doesn't work start cooking up some injectables.

Thanks KP! I hope so!!

Nice deads brother...

Do you put anything in your cottage cheese? I am not too fond of it on its own.

I love it on its own but just for variety I have been known to add:

Diced tomato and black pepper
Cinnamon and Walden's maple syrup
Peanut or almond butter
Berries of choice + a dash of stevia

This week I'm using cherry tomatoes and pepper, but...

..all this too. Never tried it with PB though. Using cherry toms keeps the cottage cheese from losing it's texture and getting too soggy (as opposed to diced).

Some people out fruit in it. Adding salsa helps. Hot sauce can fix almost anything as well

It's good with fruit, but I'd prefer it with toms or plain.

Calories ended at 1,952 with similar macros as yesterday... So ready for some sleep

Slept amazingly, but not long enough.

Eyes are irritated/burning, but hoping Zyrtec comes through today. I'm also going to call the eye doc and see if this is a normal for eye-glass adjustment.

Tomorrow would be great for a cheat day because we're going to:

But, I'm only on day 5/10 of maintenance -500(-600). Fortunately, I can eat all the steamed or grilled seafood I want. Just gotta stay away from sides.

Bro day, as you guys call it.

Work work work. Good job fool

Calories went a little over to 2,222. Still a good size deficit. I'll step on the scale fasted tomorrow to reassess my calorie intake.

I get a free day tomorrow at the gym but can't decide what to do. My some shoulders and some back, with cardio.

Dunno yet.

Only 60 calories in. I have to be careful today at the festival, an it doesn't help that everyone is planning what they want to drink.

I figure if I can find boiled or steamed shrimp that has no butter, I can kill a couple hundred of them and still be good. They are 5-8 calories apiece depending on the size, and 1-1.5g protein.

:)

Probably no gym, we want to head out soon. Might do some DB shoulder presses or something.

Probably cottage cheese and cherry tomaters for breakfast.

Edit:

I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, I prefer fruit on my cottage cheese.

Jealous of the shrimp festival! Enjoy!

The festival was a lot of fun. I never ended up having any shrimp. Our friends asked us to stay at their beach house, so, diet ended up being shot. After having cheesy chicken, oily pasta, and yummy baked beans, I said screw it and had an adult beverage and a little fudge.

Diet is back on point through, and with all my walking yesterday I probably didn't go far over maintenance.

Piecing together my meals for the week now. Looking like I'll add in grilled catfish and 90/10 beef this week to change things up. :)

Oh, and calories go up to 2,022 per day this week.

It was fun. They are great friends, the kind you don't find but a couple times during your life. Raise their kids the same way and everything.

So true.. I have a good friend, hadn't seen him in years. But when we got together last month, it was like I had seem him a week before.

When I married my wife I moved to Toronto, from about 75 minutes away. Really don't have friends in the city here, most of my friends now are 'from her' if that makes sense. Thankfully my kids did fine with the transition.

A lot of my friends I met through my wife as well. I really haven't met a whole lot of people since moving back here that I really like.
