It's TRENbelievable! 1ifeblood's tren cycle

Oh...night sweats have started and a little insomnia. Nothing big...I'm actually back to the way I was before when it would take 20-30 minutes to fall asleep. Up til now I've literally passed out 10 minutes after taking prami. Might've just been that specific night but it's something I've observed.

Damn, classy...I thought I'd lost you. ;-) The input you gave is more than appreciated. I see now that I need to drop my weight a bit to really focus on form. I liked hearing that you see more weight potential with better form. I want to believe that I have the potential to move more weight with better form because I FEEL like I should be stronger. One thing I don't want to do is fûck my shît up. My dad was a competitive power lifter who won regionals several time...all he talks about now is how fûcked up his shît is. I don't wanna be like that when I'm 60. I will push myself but not at the expense is my joints. I might be able to go deeper, but really, how necessary is it? I am always sore after a leg workout. Am I not stimulating my legs enough already that I need to risk my joints as well? These are the things I'm always thinking about when I lift heavy. My dad still lifts and all I hear is how things just don't work right anymore. I just don't want to end up that way.

If you have ever talked to anyone your Dad's age I am sure they have told yo things just don't work right anymore. That is part of getting old for everybody not just us. As a matter of fact most guys who lift into their older years are much healthier and mobile then the sedentary folks. So don't let that get into your head too much but at the same time don't do stupid things with your body. So getting the form correct is great.

Oh as far as cardio I like HIIT, LISS, MIIT, Tabatta, and straight up Metabolic training or Conditioning Drills. Far too many ways and methods of doing these, fed unfed, using anti-cort products, you name it. Not going to try to give you a "Best" scenario because in the end the best scenario is very individual. The bottom line is find time to do some type of cardio /conditioning at least 2 times a week if you are not training almost every day. If doing to increase metabolism then more often than that just like Dave said.

Yes you can definitely do HIIT for 10-15 minutes then follow it up with 15-20 minutes of LISS. The HIIT actually causes a good bit of fat to be released into the blood, slowing your cardio down after to a pace that will predominantly burn fat will burn the fat that was just released. It is a very good practice but you do not have any need to go up into the 30-45 minutes LISS after HIIT. Typically at least one of my cardio based workouts is structured this way.

That's a very good point, Chris. Between what you and Cassie say, I don't think I've got anything to worry about as long as I do have correct form and don't try to push myself beyond thresholds that I'm ready for. I really enjoyed my leg workout today. I lowered the weight but my intensity increased. Less rest between sets, slower/controlled reps that I could feel every fiber benefiting from. I really feel like I'm tapping into something my body has never experienced before and it has created a whole new excitement for me in the gym. It's no wonder why so many people workout constantly, trying to move the heaviest weight they can, and never see results. It takes a lot more than just moving the weight. You have to mentally tap into the muscle and cause the fibers to activate. There's so much biofeedback that goes into building the muscle. Stupid that I never made that connection before since I've studied a lot with biofeedback in massage therapy. But at least now I've finally got it. And you can't make the connection if you're just focusing on moving heavy weight...you have to think "deeper" than that. It's good stuff, guys, and I really appreciate all your help in getting me here.

OH BOY! 1ifeblood just crossed the line from working out as a hobby to being a body builder. Congratulations on the next level in your journey Sir. I expect you to be doing physique shows and modeling for Muscle & Fitness in the next year or so.

LMAO!! I'll be sure to practice my new look...MAGNUM!

Nice!

This week has been a little fûcked up between the holiday, my parents moving, working on my daughters' bedroom, having my kids all week, and just a few spur of the moment type stuff. So I didn't get to the gym Monday. Tuesday was a good full body workout as I moved a bunch of shît out of the top story of my parents' house. But today was slaughter legs day. You guys have a good understanding of what my workouts look like by now I'm not gonna post everything. But basically I lowered weights and really focused on form and mind/muscle. The pump I had was outrageous! I also got to the gym 10 minutes early to do some LISS on the treadmill and hit the bike for 20 minutes after burning a total of 280 calories from cardio...according to the machines. My test is looking dangerously low. I think I've been miss calculating how much I'm using because even though I pull to the .2 mark, there's also some left in the needle. I've lowered test to 10/day this week and so far I've been just fine...I just hope I have enough to finish the cycle. :-\
Bummer about being short. That is generally something you will need to account for ahead of time because like you said each time you waste a little bit.

Boom! You just entered a whole new world of lifting. :)

I think I'll be good on the test. Originally I was going from 20 for the first 4 weeks and doing to 15 for the last as I increased tren. But I was probably closer to 25 and and now I'm only using 10 which is plenty just to keep things working. Most guys are producing 8-10/day naturally anyway and there has been absolutely no loss in libido.

Heading in to destroy my chest with a new insight of the muscle/mind connection. This is gonna be good!

My chest is still resonating from the pump I had today! Used some great visualization techniques as i saw the fibers in my chest stretch out and contact with every rep. I got a burn that, until today, I was always frustrated with my inability to achieve. I worked on my Bench Press form today. I hit 225x3 again on set 3. I focused on controlled, smooth movements. Pulling the bar apart as drove with my feet and pressed my back into the bench, shoulder blades pulled back. I felt the lats kick in and the weight was easier to move. I think at this point it's just a matter of my body getting into a habit of moving the weight in this way, and within the next couple weeks, PRs will be had! Also got 10 mins of incline walking before workout and 20 mins on the bike after.

Nice work 1ifeblood sounds like you had an amazing workout.

I foresee big changes to body comp in the near future!

Just wanted to say...I love you guys!

For post 2000! :-)

:shhh: this is not the forum we want to come out of the closet in..

Oh C'mon Snagsy Baby we are both FREAKS..... I just wanna :spankme: Yep that's right SMACK DAT AZZ!!!! Just let me Snag a little lovin from ya!

Wow, I guess flowers aren't the only thing that blooms in spring.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick overview of what my diet is looking like...

Calories: 3153
Protein: 313
Carbs: 273 (fiber 30)
Fats: 94 (sat 20 / mono 24)

Half of my carbs are in by 10am with pre, post, and first meal. I'll be interested to see what measurements look like at the end of the week utilizing this setup. I can literally feel my muscles just eating it all up and I think I'm looking leaner across my gut.

Had a great back workout today. Gave my left side a little more attention again but I connected with the muscle a lot better today. I felt like the pump was fairly symmetrical between both sides and DAMN was I pumped! My lats are on another level (for me). The way I looked in the mirror doing straight arm push downs was pretty shocking because I've NEVER had a look like that! My lats were flared the fûck out! :-) Anyway, today I'm making some small adjustments to my diet to lower fats a little more and increase carbs but the calories will stay about the same.

Time to motivate! You want to find that place within yourself that you've never seen? That place that pushes you beyond your limits; reveals the raw, gritty guts of your soul. Delve deep, my friends...because this is the place that separates you from every other human being on the planet. This...is...YOU! Don't hide from it. Don't fear it! Take CONTROL of it and see the power that you wield to create the universe around you. There is NOTHING in this world that you cannot achieve! Because the world is EXACTLY what you make of it. No excuses! No fear! Know POWER! Some of you feel it every day...and you are successful. Some of you know it's there and long to achieve. But many, far too many, can't even realize this one simple truth...YOU are the God of your own universe! Your thoughts, your actions, your decisions have created your reality. Once you accept that there is nobody to blame but yourself, you can start taking responsibility, and become the creator of your own masterpiece; your life!

No excuses! No fear! Know POWER!

Now let this music drive you. Music is the lifeblood of your soul. Feel the pulsing rhythm quicken your heart. Let the reverberating guitars push the adrenaline through your veins. Sing out with the emotionally driven vocals and let the aggression heighten your senses as your mind shifts into overdrive and you become superhuman! Enjoy. :-)

Well at least Simon liked my motivational speech. Wtf people...where's my love?? I'm on tren goddammit! I need some MUTHERFUKING LOVE in this bitch!!

...

Sorry about that...I'm okay now. :-)

So I got my diet tweaked. This is where I'll end up after my last 2 meals:

Calories: 3146
Protein: 303
Carbs: 320
Fats: 78

I'd say that's Damn near perfect to where I want to ride for a bit. I'm definitely loving the increase in carbs. My muscles are literally soaking that shît up! I can FEEL myself morphing...we're going HULK up in here!

I think this will serve me well. Sunday will be my HIIT day followed by some LISS. 10 mins of 15/45 followed by 20 mins of brisk walking around the track. I'm looking forward to it!

It's ok dude. Fear factory is the sh!t.

I really dig their last 2 albums! They were a little heavier than I like in the beginning but they've become more "musical" over the years. They can definitely drive it home!

Saturdays basically turns into a IIFYM day because they by us lunch at work and we're usually too busy for me to do anything other than eat on the go. We also have a few groups of friends coming over tonight to grill out so diet won't be typical but I'll still track everything and try to make it work within my macros at least.

I like their old stuff but I like the darker heavier music. Thrash is on the border especially that emo avenged sevenfold style crap.

Strange, I can't really get into A7X. I've tried. I've listened to a lot of their stuff and it just doesn't do anything for me. Might be the singer, his voice is kinda annoying. Actually his singing voice is amazing but he's real nasally. But really, I'm just not into their style of music.

Some of their songs have stuck me as just "ok". Not a fan at all. Just using them as an example of where I draw the line lol. Most of the stuff you here on SXM octane is out. Lol. Starting to really get into suicide silence. That should give you an idea of the genre and styles I enjoy.

Yeah the stuff on octane gets pretty redundant but they've turned me on to some pretty good bands.

Quick question...do I need to worry about changing up my macros or calorie intake today since it's an off day?

I listen to liquid metal mostly. That station brought me to a new world.

Don't over think it. I do stupid stuff like this all the time. In seriousness the easier you keep things the easier it is to follow. Stick with the same macros every day IMO unless you hit that wall and need more food.

To be fair, I must spread reps before liking any more of your posts. ;)

Have you or those who have to deal with you regularly noticed any changes in your demeanor lately? All good things I'm reading so far...keep it up!

It's all good Cass! I know I can count on you to come around eventually. ;-)

And yes...I've noticed and others I'm around have noticed too. My fuse is significantly shorter than usual and I'm more blunt about what I say. It's really not severe, but I'm typically very easy going and always say the right things. So the slight change is actually very noticeable to others. What I'm noticing though, is how quickly my aggression ramps up. You know that feeling you get in your gut right before you blow up...I get there a lot easier and a lot faster, luckily I have pretty good control over how I react to emotions but I haven't always been successful and my poor wife has taken the brunt of it. Let's just say I have had to apologize more in the last month than I think I have our whole relationship lol.

lol you never appologize! SHE'S ALWAYS WRONG! thats what happens when you have a vagina.
lmao

you're lucky. im easy going but i never say the right thing... gets me in sooo much sh!t. i cussed out my best friend who's also very close friends with my girlfriend yesterday. he introduced us. we went out thursday night to the bars and then we went to bet the ponies (another good story if you're willing to hear of absolute roid rage) for her birthday as i mentioned in my thread. he didnt go thursday because he was "tired". begged her to go out last night. she said no. he started asking me. i flipped. i was like dude you know i dont drink. you know i hate going to loud obnoxiously crowded bars. you know i hate people in general. you could have came out for a lousy ass hour last night for her bday. since the potential for you having sex wasnt there you decided not to go. not because you were tired. i've seen you drink 3 weeks straight with (not putting names in) two of our friends since they dragged out their engagement party that long because they had a hot friend you wanted to bone. shes pissed at you for missing it. im pissed because you think i'm going to beg her to go out. you f'd up. you pay the consequences if there are any. have fun drinking with your mom and dad since you still have to get a ride from them everywhere since your too immature to stop drinking and buy a freaking car.

Oh **** that's awesome! That sounds exactly like me when I blow up lol! I just go relentlessly and can't stop. When I'm done though I think about all the really mean shît I said and can't help but feel bad. Just curious but are you a Scorpio? (Yes I'm asking what your sign is.)

And yes...I would like to hear the other roid rage story. :-)

lol ok. yes. i'm a scorpio ill clear that asap. very short fused to begin with.

to start the story, though i'm an AVID hunter and fishermen, I LOVE ANIMALS. not to eat, mind you. fishing i'm 100% catch and release. i've considered hunting deer with a camera but its a great source of protein and they do need some form of population control aside from the bumper of my truck. im a total dog guy but i'll even deal with cats and whatever. i've considered going to school as a biologist or vet assistant.

at the track yesterday, i didnt realize they kill the horses if they break a leg. i fukin FLIPPED when i found out. i was like ya'll are no better than betting on fighting fukin dogs like michael vick. ya'll need to find somewhere else to piss your money away. betting on this is the lowest of low. my girlfriends dad stepped in and he's like its no different than a deer. i lost it. i was like its 110% different than a fukin deer. i eat those mother fukers when i kill them. they dont go to waste. horses aint out getting hit by cars and theres no need for population control since theyre pretty much all domesticated. deer on the other hand, especially in the eastern states that dont have a large wolf and coyote population dont have a single predator except the human man. they will destroy the ecosystem if not controlled. deer can get hit by a car and break a leg, hell i've seen one leg blown off by hunters that need to learn how to use their fukin weapons and they survive. theyre some of the toughest animals out there. i'm sure a fukin horse will survive. its leg may not heal right but they're smart enough to limp and hobble till it does heal. dont give me any of that sh*t that its the same.

i called for a ride shortly after that. i wasnt about to stay at the track. feels a lil better to vent that. lmao.
