Banded Hack Squats
20 reps with just the weight of the machine (no bands)
20 reps with Pro Monster Minis
25 reps with Pro Monster Minis/Pro Minis + 10 second isotension
25 reps with Pro Monster Minis/Pro Minis + 10 second isotension + 10 second rest (lockout) + 5 second isotension
-feet low on platform, heels together, toes pointed out, pushing with balls of feet
-slow/controlled eccentric with no lockout at the top
-isotension: slowly lowered to where tension reached it's peak and held in place
HS Iso Leg Extensions
50x20
50x26 + 5 forced reps + 10 second isotension
50x25 + 5 forced reps + 10 second isotension
-1st set with strict form and a 2 second flex at the top of each rep
-2nd and 3rd sets just pumping out reps to failure before forced reps (HS machine has "arms" that allowed me to continue with assisted reps) and isotension (pushed down on arms and fought the added tension)
