Back day. After my PWO I opened some mail from yesterday then it was out to the gym. It was 23 degrees out, but the insulated garage held the heat in from yesterday rather nicely. Kept my rest periods short, and did some light ab work just help add some circulatory stress, and I read a study a few days ago (I'll have to see if I can find it again) about using ab excersises to increase blood flow in the stomach area and potentially mobilize fat from adipose tissue. Going to add some type of ab stuff on upper body days just to see what happens. Nothing crazy, nothing to actually build my abs, just get blood moving. Certainly can't hurt, and who knows, maybe I'll have a cut midsection in a couple of months. My back was fried and pumped like crazy at the same time. I've never been able to hammer out this much volume and this many exercises at one time before. Follidrone is helping me really push myself and it's not mentally taxing at all either. I'm feeling very confident in each set that I'll be able to hit my minimum reps, and so far have fallen short only a hand full of times, and on heavy weights.

I honestly thought strength would come into play already. Im not disappointed though. The results so far in all of the logs are good.

Depending on how I feel after practice I'll see where my sqaut 10RM is either on Sat. or Sun.

Just had the best chest meal in a long time. Some friends see in town for the week, and we went to an amazing German restaurant for dinner. They have this jagger schnitzel that you just can't stop eating. Got totally schnitz faced and felt like I was going to puke.

Learned it during one of my bio classes in college oddly enough. Used it for years. It truly has been the hangover magic bullet for my friends and I.

Really! I'll have to try that next time. My Fourrunner Labs stack should be here any day so my cycle will start on Monday. So no more drinking for me after Monday.
 
I've heard that regarding red wine and the histamines, but not in general.

BTW- I know exactly where you are coming from. I have drinks with friends about once a week and can only hang for happy hour anymore. If it starts going into the night, my next day is trashed.

Yep, no more partying till 3 and closing the bars down for this guy. I look back and think to myself, how did I do that all the time.

Defintiely going to have to try this. I usually go with some tums before/after drinking and alka-seltzer the morning after.
 
At home with kids today, son is playing puke machine. They're napping right now so getting my workout in. Legs and just tested 10RM. Previous was 225 x 10. Just hit 225 x 12.
 
So as stated above, it was quad day. Ended up going out with friends instead of going to practice so my legs were totally fresh.

After a decent warm up I got right to business.

I'm fairly certain this is the most sets of squats in a row I've ever done. I just couldn't stop though. And 2 more reps over my 10RM was a little inspiring. A strength increase in just about a week and a half like that I would venture to say is almost on PH level. I've only seen jumps like that for myself personally while on cycle.

The BB seated calf raises do such a better job of hitting the gastroc vs. on the Smith machine, which I had forgotten about. I'll be doing them with the BB during heavy sets from now on.

My legs were officially jelly. Even just walking from the garage back to the house was a challenge. Pretty sure I'm going to hurt tomorrow, but it's such a good hurt.

Again, seeing characteristics from Follidrone that mirror PH's in terms of allowing this amount of volume. Took me much longer than normal to finish this workout, but I absolutely could not get enough work in.

Thanks KP! The worst part: my wife is having a big jewelry party at our house tomorrow and went shopping at Costco for food. She came home with some huge boxes of food and supplies and needed me to bring them all upstairs so she could run to a meeting at the school for my step son. Those were the heaviest boxes and longest case of stairs I've ever climbed. :-(
 
Hey Mountainman - I love ARA. How does this compare so far? Maybe it would stack nice with ARA lol...

ArA is good, no argument there, but this stuff has been effective and getting more effective right from the start. Stacking it I'm sure would be great.

This makes me very happy.
I saw some crazy things in testing. I almost didnt believe it but I trust our testers.

Im super stoked we are seeing it replicated in logs.
Kasaj is also gaining weight as well as another guy on another forum.
