Dat Face!

Reps for a turntable man!

lol...not just a turntable a 'garard 401' turntable. it cost me around $60 in 74 which was a small fortune for a kid working part time after school. i've replaced parts but the damned thing still sounds better than anything else out there!!! one of the best investments i ever made, lol.

basic legs today, more concerned with tempo and speed than anything else
BB atg squat + DB jump squats, raised leg curls, calf raises
done

veins are starting to show out, gonna be a road map again in due time

Do your veins ever really disappear Snags?

no, not really
sometimes they are just more profuse than others, like when I am leaner

Veins mean gains! I just invented that.

Doing my FST7 leg press set yday the veins on my right inner leg were starting to take a peek :)

Well, if you want to get technical, it should actually be Gar"r"ard 401. ;) I love my audio gear. My main rig is all B&W speakers, with Krell, Classe, Rotel and Cary audio components. Fitness and audio gear are my two vices. Lol

Looking great Monte!

Holy crap! They are opening a Metroflex here in Conroe. I think I'm gonna start hopping around I'm SO excited lol.

Love it..

"The weight is just a tool. If you're trying to hammer a nail, do you focus on the hammeror the nail? You better focus on the thing you're trying to hit--the nail-- and not the tool for hitting that thing--the hammer. It's the same with bodybuilding training. Focus on the thing you're trying to hit, your muscle, and not the tool for hitting that thing, the weight."

Yesterday I hit shoulders pretty good. Taking heavy pressing out for a bit since my right shoulder is starting to flare up.

Cybex side lateral raise
Four working sets of 12-15 reps

Reverse pec deck ss band pulls
Same as above

Face pulls
Three sets of twelve

Hammer grip db shoulder press
Four sets of twelve kept it light and worked the tempo

High reverse cable crossover
FST7 focus was on simulating rear double bicep pose without flexing biceps of course keeping tension on rear delts and upper back.

Helped out with my son's little league team last night for cardio lol. Little jokers are all over the place. Combine that with me never playing a single bit of baseball and you have a recipe for a lot of back and forth. Was a lot of fun though .

Coaching has always been something I'm passionate about and what I wanted to do for a long time. Can't wait for football season..... Daddy knows football :)

Nice who's quote is this? I think I have heard / read this before or a similar sentiment.

Yeah that is who I was thinking it was. He really has some great insight. I have listened to a few of his things and the guy seems to be an intellectual giant in some ways. Very insightful at least.

...So Irish is serious? lol what the..

IMO it's why he didn't win the Olympia the year before last. Steve and I were talking about that actually. It'll follow him for a LONG time (no pun intended) and that was the one shot he had to win it seems. Phil's back got even better this year, so unless he just falls off or Rami gets it together with his freakish size......well you might have a new all time Olympia wins record holder..

107 days out.

Yday was an off day. Cardio came from helping out at son's little league again. (It's been so stupid busy around here lately.)

Today I'll hit back. Going to really get some volume in and work on width as much as possible.

I agree as well, it definitely hurt him for the Olympia the first time which was easily closer than the second.

Too bad kai ****ed a grapefruit on camera for cash...

I questioned if it was true or not.. curiosity led me to find some pretty disturbing videos and pics.. just take my word for it and look away!
You would be surprised how many low level pros, and National Competitors do weird sexual things for money to pay for their gear. Tons of them do webcams body worship chat sessions, gay porn all kinds of stuff. I had a buddy who was as straight as they come who would dress up in a stretch mini dress and go to dinner with this guy in at a nice restaraunt in Montrose which is the part of town where all the gay bars and stuff are. The guy paid him $1000 cash plus paid for his dinner every week. Nothing else no sex or anything, it was just what that dude was into... Pretty interesting.

I think Phil is basically untouchable unless some of the other top guys make some incredible improvements, but his improvements year to year are not slowing down either.

Honestly, when it comes to the Olympia, it doesn't matter how good you are on stage. It's all a political choice at that point. You should hear some of the stories of what Cutler had to do in order to win the Olympia. It would make your head spin. The Mr. Olympia is chosen weeks before the show even happens. Hell, the higher ups of the IFBB gave their "condolences" to Ronnie 3 weeks out from the show the year Cutler beat him.

A "buddy" huh...okay, we believe you, wink wink nudge nudge, say no more!

we still have a long way to go to catch up with europeans....even in the 70's their pornography was so weird and strange it was illegal for us to bring back to the states...

Always took it away from you at customs did they ? ;)

the one stop brothel/hash den/bars were really something for a poor kid from indiana!!! of course this was in the days before urine tests!!!

Shoulder joints are feeling rough this morning. All the stretch from the pulldown and pull-ups yesterday is the culprit.

Still feeling awesome overall although my workouts have lacked a bit of the normal intensity. This comes from lifting in the afternoon instead of mid morning like I did for the last three years.

Adding in a couple goodies in about a week to keep progression moving along. Won't be any HUGE changes but they will help a bit, as at this point every oz of lean mass added and fat lost is more important then ever.

Update pics coming soon!
