Montego an Snagency tag-team with FINAFLEX in the corner

steak & eggs, oats, and grapefruit for breakfast - yum
off day today, feeling nice & tight, back swole & full from training yesterday..
Phase II is smooth going here in the early stages...yesterday weight was 208 upon rising

Wow Fate's Warning... holy crap talk about a blast from the past.

Looked like an awesome lift Monte!

I don't know how you guys eat grapefruit. Isn't it super sour like a lemon?

There was a point in time where I would have rather set my junk on fire than eat one. But if u eat one every morning after a week or so they grow on you. Also , imo , nothing like a lemon tastes.

More bitter than sour, but it is a taste you become accustomed too then actually desire. Kind of like sweet n low in iced tea. I used to hate it, that bitter aftertaste got me every time. Then I got used to it and now ice tea sweetened by anything else tastes weird to me. The Texas Reds are some of the best in my opinion, they are less bitter which makes them taste much better. Funny though I used to hate them, now I crave them.

Welll.......might have screwed the pooch a little bit ago. Was doing calf press on the leg press machine and felt/heard my tibialis pop.....can't put weight on it. Tears in eyes. Oh boy.

Not cool at all...

Hope it's minor and not a long-lasting injury/nuisance.

Actually diving to the urgent care clinic right now.....left footed.

Aight. I pulled the trigger and picked one up at the store. It's not the pink star one or whatever it's called.

Drive safe Monte and let us know how it goes.

Good thing you don't drive a stick....it's tough to drive a stick without using your right hand, let alone your right foot....it's doable, but dang.

Hope it's minor :(

In different times this would be a treasure trove of quote edits.

Ahhhh, the Barry that would have made the hall. Dude was a fücking shoe-in pre-sauce. The scrawny little dude that could have 30-30d his whole career. He's back to his rookie size. I hope he's doing well enough, I loved watching him play the game before he was the monster he became. One of the best all-around to play the game.

Lucked out. Very very slight tear of Peroneus Brevis. Dr said I was very lucky. He wants ice and rest for at least two weeks with no weight on it.

99% of the time this requires surgery but since the tear is so small he thinks it might be ok apparently. I'll get a second opinion tomorrow.

That's great news. If two weeks off the leg-lifts does the job, does this set you back a great deal?

Just caught up on the last 13 pages...Leave for a couple days and come back to all kinds of stuff! Hope ya heal up fast buddy

good to hear
we will talk via e-mail on a few things..

Just getting caught up here.. sorry to hear Montana. But happily it shouldn't hamper your efforts too much. Just make sure you let it heal brother.

Hoping tomorrow my pcp gives better news. About five lbs of ice on the leg right now.

I'll not be stopped. Left leg well get some extra focus. Single leg leg press. Single leg squats. Should be able to do extensions and curls with the bad leg too.

Heal up bud! Sorry to here. Just be smart about it and let it heal. You might be better off not doing too muh unilateral work, want to stay symmetrical. Snagz probably will know more than me.

Ps welcome to the temporarily injured club.

Thanks fellers. My left side is a bit behind my right on most body parts a tad so some extra emphasis on that won't hurt too much.

Dr. Apt. In about four hours.....nervous!

Goodluck at the doc and I didn't read it was right... you should be alright then.

Hoping you are getting some good news as we speak. The 2 weeks is not a bad deal if that is all it ends up being.

Three weeks complete rest on my right leg. After that I go back for another check up to see how things are progressing. No boot but I've got it bandaged up pretty good.

Hopefully it's good news in three weeks.....that will be seventeen weeks out.

recovery then 4 months to train for stage, you got it, just don't be hard headed and use it at all

Hopefully this is how it goes.

I am a bit nervous that the slight tear won't repair itself though. It's VERY small but still some hgh would probably help :P

I'll still hit all my upper body stuff besides Deadlift :( and I'll have to be a bit creative on some things but I won't be sitting out. Depending on how things are going next leg day I'll try extensions and curls just to see what the pressure on that area feels like.

Improvising and adapting. With the right mindset you can work around injuries. By body turds out on me a lot. Especially my back so I've learned to employ those two techniques a lot. Glad it wasn't serious. The road to ur show still seems like ample time for recovery and admirable progress. But I've never show prepped. Regardless , best of luck.

looks like ima have to carry the log for awhile, till hop-a-long gets back to full go .. :sigh:
training today can be summed up in one word: PUMPED!
abused the abs (10 sets); then
blitzed the biceps and terrorized the triceps for 10 sets of each supersetted..
my arms are big

and so ends the first week of Phase II
I am happy
that is all

Don't do it. Not worth it. Don't even tempt yourself. Listen to the doc and rest. A week or two off isn't gona hurt your muscle size. I know it's hard but don't even give yourself a little or you will take a lot. Also 3 weeks no weight probably means a few more light duty after that. Just remember you have to ease back into it. You will be fine but making a dumb move or rushing will just make things worse or set you back where you started my friend. You have worked hard, so be smart now.
