Article: Food Myths And Science

I wonder how this high acid level and inflammation he mentions as a result of very high protein intake manifests itself? I regularly eat 2.8g+/kg body weight of protein and I feel great. What are the warning signs?

Egg yolks have been shown to increase prostate cancer by 80% if a person eats three or more a week. Google it if you don't believe me. Choline is not healthy as he claims...

So true. Grass fed whole dairy is amazing taste and nutrient wise.

The way I read it the inflammation was caused by the test subjects not eating the vegetables that have antioxidants, presumably because they filled up on proteins.

Such as . . . ?

Idk man, there's so much contradicting evidence everywhere...from legit studies too not just idiot articles.

I've read contradicting stuff about soy, the anabolic window, high reps vs low reps, too much protein being both bad and good, no one agrees about creatinine, etc.

Lol I'm just fed up with and done with it all. I guarantee if you look hard enough you could did a study that contradicts a bodybuilding fundamental that you've known for years to be true so I just stray away from the ***got **** and take everything with a grain of salt. I especially don't believe anything about supplements by bodybuilding.com cuz supps aren't regulated by the FDA and I believe they post articles advocating certain supps to profit, but that claim isn't exactly earth shattering

There are tons of studies that show soy acts like an estrogen in your body. I'm sure you realize more estrogen is bad. The only valid argument I've seen is how much damage it does. Any is enough for me to avoid it.
