Bigger Pecs & Better Sex from Brawn & Halo X

Here's a couple from after my leg session right before the superbowl sunday party (hence the red line from the low bar placement). Back isn't pumped or anything, just flaired - I got a better spread in the closeup but the full shot is a better view of how my frame looks in general.

Day 5

Morning Weight 213.2 (+3.0lbs, wtf I swear I'm not eating more than usual, probably less).

If I keep growing at this rate I'm gonna blow my weightclass lol. Not looking any fatter & muscles seem to be getting a better pump already - veins are becoming more pronounced in my arms, really popping during workouts, & veins in the sides of my core are becoming more visible it seems. Had some noticeable fatigue today, which I've kinda thought I was getting already last few days, but this morning about an hour after dosing it was obvious. Nothing 8 oz of coffee couldn't take care of tho, so I've been doing a cup of coffee am & pm. Not running any other stims atm so bp hasn't been an issue.

I think my endurance is already increasing; I'm feeling good every time I lift & love that I can spend more time to get the extra work in. Keeping workouts to 1hr 30 min max, but that extra 20-30 min can make a big difference in the total volume I can achieve & let a good 3-4 more exercises into my session.

Joints already creaking a bit but that's just Epi. Using 1g of 98% L-Dopa/day & no AI; everything feels well managed gyno-wise. I'm trying to keep my estro as high as I can for now to keep joints happy & just keep prolactin in check for the Halo (500mg wasn't enough but 1g e/d seems to be doing the trick).

Definitely - I'm surprised you haven't noticed logs on here with sensitive guys lactating late in Halo cycles. It's the minority obv, but it kinda seems like my body hates exogenous hormones lol

Burns. I was pretty tan last summer & the woman who does my laser hair removal treatment got over-zealous with the heat setting - the laser targets pigment, so the darker the hair the better it works, & the darker your skin the less juice she can use. They haven't faded as much as I'd hoped over the last 6 months.

I'm kinda surprised after 27 reps on 189 already that I pumped that set out, but they just kept coming so I just kept hammering. Lovin' it so far!

How does one bench 189lbs?

We have some oversize bars that weigh 47lbs. Collars are 1lb/each approx. Our normal bars are 43, so with clamps you're looking at 45 even. I use the thicker bars as often as possible except for heavy deads/racks to help my grip a bit.
 
Day 6

Can't remember weight today

Had to go in to work early for overtime & do some errands after work (filed with the city today for the business btw!) so by the time I got home I was deadsauce. Before I knew it it was 7:30 & I was laying on the couch ready to pass out. I almost skipped. Almost. But dammit I've got a competition to train for, & I'm on gear, so I decided to nut up. Threw some instant coffee, a banana, protein & plain almond milk into the blender & was trudging thru the snow 15 min later. Ran short on time so didn't get a full workout in, but I DID get some really good speedwork in.

Everthing was 45-60 sec max rest period, between every set.

Boxsquats (to parallel) 139x5, 189x5, 229x5, 279x2, 319x2x10 sets
Conv Speed Deadlift (1" deficit) 225x5, 315x3x6, 365x3x2

I was at least sweating pretty good after all this, form was pretty tight, & I think it was some solid practice.
 
Squats and deads on the same day is a killer workout.

Yea no doubt. Exhausting.

I don't know if I would of trained.. Probably would have went to sleep and went in when I felt "rested". So, props to you my man :D
 
Nice improvements and that back V is pretty nice HYDE. I think you may have misdiagnosed your spots on your back. It looks like a typical fungal infection, epecially prevalent for people who use tanning beds or sit around in warm or humid places. Just for grins try a generalized anti-fungal cream on it and see if they don't go away in a couple weeks. I have had that before and so has my wife.

Day 7

Morning Weight 208.8 (-1.4lbs from start)

I had carbs over 4 out of 5 meals yesterday in anticipation of the legwork, & then skipped carbs postworkout. And woke up 4.5lbs lighter somehow, & was looking tighter & leaner this morning. NOT smaller, muscles looking harder/fuller & already starting to look "ON". Idk if I just dropped some waterweight or what, but it was a huge swing for me & very positive at that.

Ty. I tried to remind myself why I was doing what I'm doing, & that part of being strong is deciding to do things even when they're no longer easy. That can be a lot of this lifestyle at times. But I think it makes me a better person. Plus I'm taking tonight off :biggthumpup:

Tinnea Versicolor - yeah I've had this before, so has my lil sis, very familiar with it. Ketoconazole, either Rx orally or in Nizoral/other anti-dandruffs is great for ditching it. But this is 100% positive NOT tinnea; they are in fact burns. They were where skin got cooked by too long of exposure to the laser & then peeled to expose raw underskin (hence why they're lighter; they're untanned). No big really, it is what it is.
 
Btw today was lower carb & lower cal, & ran 3 caps AMP (DMAA, chocamine, caff) & 2 of Hyper T2 (yohimbe, 3-5 thyro, capsicuum) over the morning along w the razz ketones & Recompadrol I've been using. Makes these smaller portion & low carb days waaay easier in terms of hunger/energy. Fats & protein came up a bit to compensate, but cals were still at a pretty good deficit overall.
 
Never ran ECA before, but I figure now is the time - this cycle is all about shedding that abdominal coat, & the anabolics are gonna give my muscles the best defense possilbe. I feel more comfy w/ an otc than trying something like research grade T3. Ordered an ECA stack (Methyl-Drene 25) last night, so hopefully we'll get some more shreddage coming into the mix late nxt wk :)
 
Sounds good Hyde the ECA should really help bring the fat off.

Just curious. What made you pick ECA over clen?

Not wanting to die. I'd go ahead & run T3 if I was going RC, probably with trendione (counterbalance drop in t3 & further blast fat). The majority of ppl who use Clen report very high levels of discomfort. I know bcazo has had good times with it but overall it seems the minority of ppl like it - high enough odds I won't. Almost everyone I've read that's used ECA is mainly positive about it.

I'm going to have to try that methyl drene 25.. Can't get bronkAid In NJ :(.

Hi-Tech Lipodrene w/ Ephedra can probably be found somewhere out in orbit....$40 ain't cheap, but baby aspirin is all you'd need besides that (with all the synephrine, yohimbe & stims in it I wouldn't add more caff personally)

That's mainly what I want - appetite suppression & smooth energy without dmaa. Love dmaa but tolerance is built ungodly fast to it so I wanted something else. Plus the energy is kinda short-lived with 1,3.
 
That Hi Tech stuff is legit too. Had me sitting there and all the sudden a drop of sweat would run down my under arm or ribs even though I was doing nothing. That stuff was great.
 
Day 8

Weight down .6lbs from yesterday; kinda nice to see something on the scale after a super low carb/cal day on the scale. Makes it feel like it was worth it.

The above posts reinforce my decision to give ECA a try; ty guys! Shipped today. Also got some SL Vasoflood (capped agmatine, cit mal, nitrates) for some pre-WO pump & gonna try CL's new Purple PsyKO intra; stoked for that. CL always puts out decent stuff - worse case scenario, you have to dose it higher than suggested. But I never regret using their stuff.

I mentioned this in Leonidas's thread, but endurance is growing noticeably & DOMS doesn't seem to be lasting as long, despite greater volume & no reduction in weight percentages. Epi treated me well before so I'm not surprised at all. Just great workouts.

I was gonna do pin presses or floor presses & a bunch of tricep work. 2nd warmup set of pin presses & something started hurting at the corner of my right pec near my shoulder. It's achey now this evening. Tried some very light bench after the pain started, like repping 135 slowly, & the pain intensified & persisted. Since I just did legs, and chest, tris & shoulders are off the menu, what's that leave? Posterior/back :) Today was an AWESOME workout, my traps & calves & back are already so sore just a few hours later. I just read this bs article on AM's front page about High Pulls that was basically a supplement ad & decided wth; might as well play with something new. Boy am I glad I followed my fancy! Might have to start hitting these couple times/wk.
 
Concur on the EC stack. I leaned on it heavy (while lifting and doing daily bouts of cardio) when I shed 165lbs. ECY is also nice...sweat like a mf'er

Thanks Pete! I've never done the High Pulls before, really ever, but I was kind of expecting more weight. I'd really love to pull 225 over the nipple line, but during the workout I only made it above the navel (Low Pull). My traps are SMOKED today; I can't believe how sore they are. Anybody looking to put extra size on their traps should consider these & shrugs a couple x/wk.
 
365 to 200 (actually to 184 but sat at 190 for sometime and try maintaining at 200...) I suppose in the end it was 181 in total. (took 11 months).

Holy crap! Props to you man for losing that weight and getting into shape!! Fkin' mirin'

Shoulder issue could be your AC joint or you might have some overuse tendonitis in your biceps tendon!

I'm actually quite certain it's in the edge of the pec actually, although it's not as sore this morning. No bruising so it's just something I'm keeping an eye on.

Day 9

Morn Weight 208.0 (-2.2lbs from start)

Pec is feeling a bit better; had to be very careful & keep my head up on the dips & try to keep my chest out of it. Decided to play with more High Pulls today for 20min or so before arms - I love having freedom to train longer on cycle! Didn't get super heavy; every pull was at least cleared nipple line. These have probably zero carryover to my comp lifts except maybe deadlift, but I figure they can only help my grip, they're hitting my traps & calves like nothing before, & I'm having a lot of fun :thumbsup:

Took a while to get that fully pumped arm day look, but by time dips were going I was feeling thick! Surprised epi is being so kind to my joints thus far, but I'll take it.

Found out this huge kid that started training at my gym very recently is going to the same meet as me. He's about 6'0'' & at 245 atm, said he's gonna cut to 242 & weigh morning before comp so he'll prob be coming up on 260 on the platform. I've watched this guy bench 405 totally raw for at least 6 reps. His forearms are as thick as my upper arms, & he might be leaner than me too. His back is built like a tank.
 
Diet largely dictates gains, followed by training. I was around maintenance before going on, really, & adding anabolics known to help shed fat coupled with increasing my expenditure (more time in the gym/wk) it melting some of the extra :)

This guy I know told me I look f'in huge today. Even tho I'm actually dropping weight. Every time I lean up some ppl start saying I look bigger; it's funny how the more defined you become the more muscular you come off.
 
Nice work HYDE sounds like you really enjoyed those High Pulls those will get you YOKED for sure! Sounds like if you keep your diet in check you are going to come out of this nice and lean with a lot of new strength.

Yeah Leonidas it has to do with what you throw at a product nutritionally. These are both very dry products so they tend to be used a lot for cycles when people are trying to lean out. However they are very good at providing lbm gains as well. He is using the anabolics to help him maintain / increase muscle mass while leaning up so he doesn't lose anything on his lifts for the upcoming meet. YOu are eating for lean gains so you will see a steady increase in weight where his will probably start with a loss then gradually the losses will start to taper off and he will just continue to get leaner.

I love the fact that your losing lbs. your going to look great. I get the same comments when I cut, people think the more definitions means your bigger..
