Protein shake (1/2 actually. drank the other half afterwards) :30 before, 1 tbsp PB :05 before, then a Hershey Kiss :15/:30/:45m in. Trying to get my fats in closer to my workout.

Maybe carbs before training would help? Always seems to make my training go better.

I'm usually at 25-40g PWO with my almond milk and such. Do you think I should take in more, or solid carbs instead?

I like to go with complex carbs 1 hour or so before training, ie oatmeal works great. I guess I'm no expert but that's what works for me.

Yeah, I don't get that much time from when I wake up until I work out. I can try eating oats :30 pre.
 
You can blend the oats into your shake, or even just mix em in & choke em down if you're a trooper (I'm a sissy & blend that shiz).

Reverse-grip bench is always awkward. Once it gets heavy it's like mandatory to get a liftoff too.

I had heard of that (blending). Turns out I took my oats to the hunting camp and left them there. I'll get some more tomorrow.

Yeah, I think I could've done a little better with a help on the lift/drop. Not by to much though. I tried to focus on the squeeze, but kept focusing on balance.

I was looking at my pre-Level II pictures this morning and even though the scale hasn’t changed but almost 4 lbs, I see a huge difference. We’ll see how this weekends pics dhow, though.
 
Every two to three years one of my wisdom teeth decides to be a 'pain'. It looks like this is the year.

One of these days I'm going to have it removed...

I went for a little higher cals tonight but still in my cut-zone, just short of my personally set max.
 
A walk where somebody knocks you out & cuts your f**king teeth out! Lol it really wasn't bad at all actually - just a wk of discomfort afterward & a lot of liquid meals (BUT NO STRAWS!).

I may take the next two off and aim for 2,100 cals. I have to go re-up on chicken from SAMs Sunday, so a pizza slice may be in order too.

Not too bad of a weekend. I probably should've got in some cardio, or maybe and ab day or something. It was nice having the weekend to rest, but I still feel a little tired.

Saturday's meals included popcorn and nachos because the wife and I went to see a movie.

Sunday I sampled my meal prep as I made it and had some beef jerky and tried a pickled spicy sausage. It was so-so. For lunch I had pork with blue cheese and A1:

Adding oats pwo:

A) Doesn't bloat me.
B) Gave me extra energy/strength, I think. I didn't hit any PR's, but I don't think it was a fail based in where I've been during this cut.
C) Dilutes my caffeinated energy. My HR spiked good during my warmup sprints, but never really WO fast enough to keep the HR up/sweat pouring.

Overall, I like the oats PWO. I need less cocoa though.

Because of the dilution in caffeine, tomorrow I'll take a level II right before I step on the treadmill.

I'll pre-post my daily eats here shortly since I'm limiting my afternoon login time. If the cals change I'll update them in the AM.

Question: have you ever tried throwing a scoop of choc protein powder in a black coffee?

I've tried up to 1/4 scoop of vanilla in black coffee. It doesn't mix that great with a spoon, but tastes good anyway. I've been using my Finaflex shaker to mix the protein and almond milk, then mixing it with the coffee. Using a shaker with the coffee would probably work well...

They are great shakers aren't they. I like the sizing.

I was thinking of making coffee and putting in fridge, and then adding a scoop of protein (in shaker) and seeing if it comes out like a Starbucks Mochaccino... lol

I can let you know tomorrow. I bring (leftover) refridgerated coffee to work every day. I'll try mixing the choco in it tomorrow.

I MAY have 3 Hershey kisses to push me over 2,400. If so, add 66 cals and 4.5g fat.

Oh. wasme, one scoop choco protein powder in 12oz cold coffee is so-so. I think it would be better with vanilla. But, I love vanilla and am not much of a chocolate fan.

Thanks Kenpo, and yes, I like the focus a lot. I can only imagine what it would be like if I were at a calorie surplus.
 
How much time left ?? Why don't you try going surplus but really clean and see what you get from it?

I think I want a little lower BF before I do that. I'd prefer getting down to at least 12%.

I'll post pics in the morning. I definitely have some work to do yet.
