Had a little pain in my right knee which is new. Possibly tweaked it somehow.
 
I have to check out these Jeffersons

They work a lot of the muscles squats & deads do but are usually easier on the knees than squats & easier on back than deads - while being a lot harder on the abs/core muscles. You won't need targeted ab work to feel sore there with Jeffersons. Stand over the bar with one foot on either side & squat down with arms hanging down & pull straight up with a neutral spine. Play around with feet & hand placement - the right way is the strongest, most comfy position for you.
 
Think I may be in the beginning stages of a cold. Kinda feeling crappy today. Good thing I have a couple more days off from work. Big game tomorrow GO NINERS!!!!

Diet has been good today. Lunch was a chicken breast with broccoli and brown rice. Quest bar in between breakfast and lunch and supper will be Salmon, broccoli and some almonds.

Went for a little lighter weight/higher volume with rests between 15-30 seconds.

are you trimming your carbs now ? or are you still bulking? i have cut mine back to mostly at lunch . didn't have any for breakfast or dinner except what i get from my whey. trying to lean up alittle , gained too much fat at Christmas. still protein loading though.
 
I went to Walmart yesterday and decided to peruse through their protein bar isle. There are a few there that I've tried that don't taste that bad, but after trying Quest and knowing the difference in the nutritional profile, it just wasn't worth saving the extra 50¢.

I've been cutting carbs significantly. Only carbs after 3pm are veggies.
 
I think there playing ND in basketball tonight.

I don't keep up with Noles basketball like I should. We should be heading to the Tourny this year though.
 
Weight is down to 176 and my appetite is crushed. I honestly don't seem to get hungry from 6 on. It hasn't been hard at all to cut the evening carbs out which is crazy for me. I always crave carbs at night!

Training today was biceps. Had to make it quick so went high volume short rests again.

Weight is holding steady at 176 I did get up again late last night and have a PB2 and blueberry jelly sandwich. No idea why I get the munchies so bad in the middle of the night. Something I will have to get control of if I ever want to compete.

Try pounding like 24oz water & THEN have just a big-ass spoonful of natty pb, like 4tbsp worth. That's as much as you're gonna use almost anyway on the sandwich & you skip all the carbs from the bread & jelly. 400 cal of healthy fats & hydration is better than 650 & you'll feel full enough to get back to bed. Works for me anyway when that happens. Just an idea to try.

Didn't get up and eat last night lol woke up and got a fasted weight. 171.5 really dropping fast. Just got done with back. Damn I'm tired now and have to go to work. On another awesome note we are in the middle of another blizzard yay!!! I'm done with winter!!!

Wrist isn't too bad tonight. Wasn't able to make it to the gym for legs so decided to do what I could here and work in chest as well. Interesting thing happened during one of my incline sets...out of nowhere the lightbulb shattered. Unfortunately it's right above my bench. Didn't get cut but had to take about a 10 minute break in the middle to clean up all the glass. Reminded me of that movie The Natural when Redford hits the lights it was the same popping sound.

I've never mixed legs with chest. I've squat & then benched/pressed, but 30 total reps of squat in a power routine isn't the same as a leg workout lol. After legs I'm usually cashed out!

Ended up getting off work late last night so skipped triceps but will hit them twice this next go round. Haven't eaten much today. For one I've been busy and haven't really been that hungry. My daughter got sent home from school today due to a fever so really hoping she gets over it quick and my wife and I don't come down with it.

Trained back today .

Put my pull-up bar the best I could. It's one that mounts to the frame but living in a trailer the frames are too close to the ceiling so I just looped it over the door. Held up today so may keep doing it that way.

Trained fasted this morning, strength was pretty good considering I had no "fuel" in me. Too cold to go to the gym today so decided to train chest at home. Feeling pretty good today although my right elbow started hurting slightly while doing inclines.

Joints were a little stiff but warmed them up fairly quickly. Diet has been so so, carbs are a little higher than I'd like and more sugar than I need. My only downfall
