I think I'm fat too. But I am well conditioned.

Also napalm isn't referring to your hair me thinks.

Just trying to switch from looking like pre clean up mark bell, to clean up mark bell

Keeping in mind that pre clean up Mark Bell was a 1050/850/675 kind of guy. And post clean up Mark Bell looks like this when he stands next to a 370 raw bencher:

Clean up when you're HUGE, and you'll be jacked when you're cleaned up. Clean up too soon, and you'll just be skinny. Eat good food, as much as you can, and condition. You'll look better, feel better, grow better, partition nutrients better. It's just better. I've heard good things about cous cous as far as calories vs volume and ease of cooking. Just eat as much of that as you can and you'll be golden.

Well I don't want to be at a constant eat everything mode. You guys awared me. Not going for the visible abs look, but a check of the diet. Gonna be more eggs and pork roll sandwhiches instead of 4 mcdoubles. For now. And I wouldn't mind looking like post cleanup mark bell at all lo.

And what kind of conditioning do I do if there are no sleds? Long farmers walks? I will not jog. Msybe jump rope

Think of something that is difficult, do it in an interval fashion for 15 minutes, and then stop doing it. This isn't brain surgery.

Smoker, I think something like this would suit you well. Remember, start with the walk and you're going to want to work yourself up to the gallop. When you start trotting, you know you're getting somewhere.

I need clear instructions and someone telling me what to do. That's how I operate

See napalm's post above. You need someone telling you what to do? C'mon, son. Be a man.

See napalm's post above.

Lol I could see how that sounds like military. But I ain't for that life. Just not me. Also don't think id be allowed in.

I've just never been that guy who likes all these choices and free thinking and choosing what project to do etc.

I'm in constant eat everything mode, and it sucks dick, but in the end its worth it because I'm becoming a better lifter by doing it.

Heavy ass farmers walks for distance, BW squats for 50 in as few sets as possible (immediately after 5/3/1 squats), sprints until you vomit, and then more sprints. (40 yd, 100yd, 200yd), superset everything.

Doesn't really matter what, if it gets your heart pounding and has you gasping for air then do it.

That's why you guys guide me. You'll see ill do it. You'll see

There's a difference between guidance and handholding. Do you know how much time I've spent reading articles and watching youtube informationals? Lots. This is after I spent four years of high school reading every issue of Flex and Muscular Development. Good resources? No. But I took ownership of my own shyt and made it happen. Take responsibility for something in your life, dude. Seriously. Pick one thing. Own that. Then start owning your own life, because you're not gonna make it out of your mom's basement anytime in the next decade if you don't wake up.

All of this.

I was on BB.com all day, everyday, in High School (T Nation too). Started buying MD and Flex after Basic so I could read them at ABN school, pre RASP, and while on CQ. Found AM at WW while I was waiting for my unit assignment, and haven't quit reading/learning yet. (5/3/1, BoM, Cube, JM, Anatomy Textbooks, etc.)

We weren't born knowing all this **** we had to find it out for ourselves, and you're getting way, way, more guidance than anyone else I've ever seen on this site.

Lol flex is so bad now w/ advertisement and terrible workouts... little good info. But those were the days.

Smoker, do sprints, and find something heavy at your house and tie yourself to it, then drag it through your yard. Do the 300 workout. 30 seconds of pushups, an ab movement, pullups, leg movement (135 squats or something) don't stop, just keep cycling through til you get to 300 reps. Get a drink of water and do another set. That's some good conditioning there, plus full body workout. The options only stop with your imagination man.

Mashing out lb. it's not real bad today. My boss actually is in pain too. No good if he's gonna pull. 550 in a few weeks

A smokers heart beats on average 30 percent faster than a non smokers. Very interesting fact.

Just doing some research.

^Despite all of that, don't you feel like an ass for spending so much money on smokes? I'd rather buy weight lifting stuff and supplements.

Also, the older you get, the less likely will be to quit smoking.

Well Sean, I am seriously revisiting the possibility of doing so. It has been done twice before. Typically I started back Bc of drinking. Since it's not that often anymore, it could work.

Nothing set in stone. Gonna try to set up a plan and everything. Well see. Money, smell, acne. That's my big 3 right now (reasons to stop)

My mom is buying me a nice sized shopping list of stuff so I can pre make my own meals for the week ( she's buying it, but I'm gonna give the money when she returns).

Pretty excited honestly. My list is:

7 lb ground beef
1 box pasta
2 jar pasta sauce
2 carton eggs
2 bags broccoli
Cheddar cheese
Salsa
White rice

You will find as I am eating clean these days is ****ing expensive

You know, I hear this all the time, but it's not true.

10# chicken: $20
10# red potatoes: $10
6 dozen eggs: $10
3# bacon: $14
5# ground sirloin: ~$17
Random produce: $20

That's usually enough for the wifey and me. Rice is in there as well, but I buy 25# at a time and costs maybe $2 a week. Throw in another $10-15 for oil, butter, seasonings/marinades. Food bill is ~$400-425/month and saves $100's a month by prepping food. It's usually $20/meal when we get fast food and $35/meal eating out.

Yea but it's gonna be cheaper than spending 10-15 bucks for lunch everyday. 5 x a week I do that. Even if it breaks even I still take it

Came in to say this.

Red potatoes, I'll have to pick those up.

I perfer more beef over chicken personally. Chicken gets old to me quick. I end up costing it in some type of sauce by the end of a week.

Definitely gonna start looking round at where I can get the most in bulk for a low cost.

Maybe Costco or somethng, but I'm not sure in the end if I save after paying for the membership

You have MUCH to learn.

I guess I'd say its expensive to me compared to my life 5 years ago. But food in general has went up.

It's $50/year for a Costco membership. If you buy bulk on a monthly basis, it will pay off in the long run. Just don't go there only twice a year, ya know?

Chicken and rice is roughly the same price. Eggs and beef fluctuate as does produce.

I'm not a big chicken guy to be honest. If its marinated right I can go, but I love beef and pork. Rice is cheap is **** of course.
