Country Gets HUGE with 5-3-1, Erase and DAA.

You for the first day of AP 2 and functional anatomy which is basically our other half of/similar to biomechanics. Bench time now. Hope the pec feels good.
 
Okay, so alright session. I had some minor discomfort and didn't have that explosive power because I was being really careful getting the weight down on my chest so I didn't strain it again. No pain, but felt a little iffy. Otherwise good workout and ended up with a good arm pump actually. Missed my reps by 1 but, I know I can hit that easily on the right day but healing is priority now.

Bench- barx10,10, 135x7,7,10, 230x3, 265x3, 295x2, 225x10

Pullup - 12,7
chin up - 12,7
row - 8x7,10

tri push down - 8x12,12,12,

bb row - 135x12,17

Plan is to heal up and test thursday, if things are feeling great pound out todays workout again plus jokers, if I need some time I will just do sets with 225/245 max.
I guess I should pull tomorrow, but I had bad pains sunday from my ankle to my knee and in my lateral meniscus or insert of vastus lateralis, from squatting I think. But feels cleared up today, I will just have to keep an eye on it.

Long day. Worked 8-9, class 10-2, gym 3-4 (roughtly) work meeting at 5, now relax and organize stuff and do a little studying. My functional anatomy class is taught from a clinical kinesiology book so it should have some good carry over to training and stuff. Good to be back at school and being productive again, just busy.
 
I emphasize with ya there Country. School is a love/hate thing. I'm in all upper level business and finance classes now. Last stretch for me. 2 more semesters!

Rest up and grab yourself a PR. You're getting good at that!
 
Thanks man. Yeah, I just need to heal this little boo-boo up and get back to training hard. I'm looking towards a squat PR in a few weeks/months. Gota put the training time in first. I'm pretty happy at ???/330/585 right now at 194 (in clothes so more like 191) lots of room to grow into 198 and gain some lbs on my total.

I have some upper level pre PT classes right now. My function anatomy is like a easier version of the biomechanics I take in PT school. AP II isn't bad just finishing off the stuff we didn't cover before. Functional covers musculoskeletal and nervous in detail and applies them to movements. So those are fun. Then I just have an intro soc class and a sports psyc which is interesting but easy. Functional and sport psyc go towards my EXPH minor and the functional like I said will help with my grad school so... pretty easy semester, basically focusing on 2 harder classes. I have a PT intro/discussion class as well for 1 credit but that's nothing to really worry about.

Squat has improved but I don't know exactly how much. No concrete numbers. That's over roughly 9 months. So not too bad. In the last 1.5 years I've gone from 275/425 up to that. But most of it was muscle memory. before I had a bad spine injury I was 400+/315/525 at 17.

I had good energy today but muscles just kinda lacked that "pop". Still a good day though.
 
Gona spend 5 hours in the gym today. None of then will be spent training. Oh the joy. Feel pretty decent today.

I should add, since I'm back at school, I'm working with even worse equipment again. Not that I ever use good stuff, but I'm back to the 1.25" bars that you can't hold on to, the crappy plates, and weird power rack bench setups. So I expect to see some changes in my numbers, and have, to reflect this.

Lol 4 girls on yoga mats next to me stretching in what I would call the "ready to take it" pose. Thank goodness they are actually in shape lol. Meanwhile I'm studying the endocrine system. Woohoo, go hormones.

I think I'm gona Deload next week or at least Deload chest.. Haven't decided for sure but I wana rest it and heal. Less pain and discomfort today once I got warm but it's there.

Pull-up- 10x3,5x2

Tri cables. 6 sets. Higher reps 8-12.

Stretched and did some RC work.

What the heck happened with the natadrol rerelease?

And deload is probably a good idea for that recent strain

Yeah I agree. I want to be able to train hard not half hearted. So I gota heal. Ill focus on dead and ill squat an extra day maybe or something.
 
Okay guys. I have a 25 dollar gift card for GNC to spend. I never shop there. I wana use it. But The things I'm looking at now, they don't have (free test/a good DAA product thats cheap and pure, l carnitine l tartrate, a good BCAA, anabeta or erase). I can just get some cheap protein but they all look stupid to me. I found some BCAA chews BOGO under the 25 dollar mark. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions at all? I was thinking even selling the gift card to a friend and just use the money to by my supps on NP/TF/amazon like usual...

If you go to their simple stuff they do pretty decent for cheap. I got a big bottle of MSM and I've bought Na-R-ALA from them many times. But yeah, if it has a sports label on it, they're gonna bend you over and they're not going to lubricate. Except their bulk creatine mono is decently priced.

Mehh, I have bars for days and a dining hall 100 feet away with free food. But tempting. I thought about grabbing some mono but I still got a bit of my 300g bottle and I've had that for like a year and a half... I don't use much creatine. lol. But yeah their prices suck and so do their products aka why I don't shop there...
 
I just recently grabbed two containers of mono for real cheap. Shouldn't need any more for two years.

Other than that, the only thing I look at in there is Quest bars.

Maybe some vitamins? Not sure how their prices are on those...
 
Squats w 360 today. Time to get some reps/ rep PRs. I don't even know what PR is at this weight so I'll have to check.

Looks like 350x5 and 370x3 are the closest I have. Everything else I was so weak on, low low reps. Like a month ago I was only 1 repping 350. So I should be able to hit at least 4. I'm gona gun for 6ish. This is my 3s week.

My legs hips and glutes are dead. Plus check this sweat stain from the squats lol. The beard like funnels it all off my Face. Time to finish.

There is no way I'm walking tomorrow. I've never hurt so bad immediately after lifting. In a good way. My heavy set was good energy but form was just crappy after rep 1.

Every time I read your log I cant believe how strong u are at your age your numbers are going to be out of this world in a few more years
 
Haha thanks DM, I guess I was gifted with some good strength to start and determination to work hard. I feel weak honestly because I was almost this strong at 16 and got hurt, so I should be way stronger than I am now. I also just feel like I look small. But I hope to see like 500/350-360/650 this year and maybe 6/4/7 by the end of college if not sooner around 220 or so. Definitely do able I just gota take care of my body and and be smart. Slow and steady progress and prehab/mobility work and smart training/diet/sleep will get me there. My legs definitely are my weak point just because the time I have spent training them properly is way less than the rest of my body. I have a lot of development to make and strength to gain. I am seeing changes already so I am just gona keep killing these sessions every week.
 
You aren't kidding. I finally got my upper quads and glutes to hurt! I pounded some food at diner and gona have some steak and rice here in a few.
 
Okay you guys, if you are supplements gurus, tell me what you think about this. I tried to pick out some stuff I have used/know is effective, which is also cheap, and can be stacked together. I don't wana go PH yet for obvious reasons, although I do feel it's down the road a few years. So here we go.

1 bottle anabeta 4xday
1 bottle erase 3xday
2 bottles free test 6 caps a day
1 tub 100g LCLT @ 2.5g a day.

10 days- Free Test and LCLT
ADD in Anabeta and Erase and run everything for the next 30 days.

Done.

About $85 bucks for 40 days. Not bad, could think of worse ways to spend $2.25 every day.

DAA, supposed to work awesome with LCLT and help make erase more effective.

DAA = test boosting, LCLT= muscle recovery/less damage through upregulation of AR (androgen receptors), erase functions as an AI taking care of any negative feedback from the increased test therefore increased estrogen from the DAA. So we end up making test, preventing conversion to estrogen, and upregulating ARs to make use of the increased test and other androgens. The Anabeta would just be an added bonus as it's supposed to be slightly androgenic and mimics insulin... I would like to do more research on the ingredient but there are several studies that seem to support it. And I have taken it and remember and also logged that I saw results from it... obviously others have as well. This should be a pretty damn synergistic stack.

If you guys have any suggestions for me, particularly something else to take in place of Anabeta that does basically the same thing, let me know. Also any thoughts, concerns, comments on dosing etc.
 
1450-1500 is a very real possibility for you later this year.

Thanks man! I would really like to see that happen. Theoretically I am at ~1325-1350 right now. 405+/330+/585+ A year is a lot of time to add some lbs, and if I add at the rate I did this past year (just under 5/3/1 progression, 85 lbs of dead in 8 months and 30lbs of bench in 8 months. plus squat gains). I should get up there easily. Maybe even 1500+. Obviously the stronger I get the slower the progress, but then again I haven't seen anything that makes me thing I will slow down other than the fact that everything is really damn heavy.

Not a bad idea, but I wasn't sure if the addition of the other compounds were worth it or not. I do like PES and their products/quality which is why I would likely stick with erase. Just wondering.

Thanks man! I have run them but it's been a LONG time. I've really been supp free for a long while now... and made good gains. I ran erase/daa at the beginning of this log and liked it, so I think the 2 additions would only make it better.
