Smokers road to 1st plm

This may help a bit. I break down a training session into three phases: primary, secondary, and ancillary work. Primary training has no set rest period. Whenever I'm ready is when I'll lift. Secondary I try to keep to 2 minutes rest at the most. Ancillary work is where I generally superset everything, especially for upper body. That should give you an idea how to start.

Smoker, you're not fat you just need to move your ass. If you suck at something, do more of it. That's how you get better. I also think you need to learn how to test your limits. You'd be very surprised how far you can go with the right mind set. No nuts, no glory.

I'm starting to push myself and not be a puss. But it clearly seems like I need to add on this conditioning
 
I don't understand why you wouldn't just keep to 5/3/1 for your primary lifts but then use the conditioning and SS for the assistance work.

This is my assertion as well.

You'll know what you need to do...intensity is dictated to you, there's no question and if you're feeling awesome you can wreck ****. Conversely, of not hit the min and go home.

Auto-regulation for the masses.

Rowing 3x a week
Some type of conditioning as well ( not sled always cause I don't always have acess but something else for sure)

Nobody cares if you do it or not, but the message over the last couple of pages is to grow a pair and do more (some) conditioning...

I went from ~6' to 6'2" and gained about 20 pounds. That's the last time I was anywhere near 250.
 
Eh, I'm okay w/ being like 5 9". Sure I could be taller, but hey, I got what I got so I will work with it. I'm blessed with a lot of things and could be a heck of a lot shorter and or skinnier.
 
Man I can't count or type give me a break. My DL says 5 10" lol. I think I meant 5' 9.5" but who really cares. The world may never know how tall I really am.

Lol true bro. But I could have accomplished my dream as a point gaurd, best in the nba, if I just grew 2 more feet

My clavicles aren't even in the same planetary system as Lalas' structure. The way I see it, I'm pretty blessed structurally to be 5'8" 240 with some squishy after a few light cycles, but that guy is as wide as the hood of a car. I wanna be large as all hell, but still competitive and with longevity.
 
I feel ya herd. I will have some insane mass if I ever get to a lean 220... We are not built like that^
