Avs Wings brawl in 97' McCarty and Lemuix. Still gets me jacked up thinking about it. Close second was the 98'

Damn right.. one of my friends live right next door to Drapers parents. He invited one year they won the cup for the backyard party was kick ass. (was the Lemieux hit on Draper that sparked those brawls - pretty sure anyway)
Breezy, have you seen the movie Goon? About a mass-hole hockey player.
Damn, hell of a workout!
Bruuuuuuutal!
It's only gonna get worse. My legs aren't working too well, especially when I stand up after sitting down for a while.
Breezy, you part cyborg or something?
Supersetting the extensions with the leg presses...and into squats! Damn...
That's exactly what I though, hardcore badass!Breezy, you part cyborg or something? Supersetting the extensions with the leg presses...and into squats! Damn...
You know a lot of Hungarians tuned into Irish because of the great potato famine in Ireland. Pretty cool story actually.Lol. I'm Hungarian and IrishThat's all Meadows' crazy ideas. Here's a quote from today's workout: "This week you are going to be doing you explosive work on a very pumped set of legs - with that in mind, enjoy!"

I wasn't aware. I'll look into it though.
I noticed that this was posted in another thread already, so I'll share it here.

Supposedly Hungary is a poor country and Ireland had the great potato famine going on and so the Hungarians went to Ireland for work but the Irish didn't want them to take all the work from them so a lot of the Hungarians changed there name to an Irish name so they wouldn't get caught. Sometimes that why you see a lot of last names that are the same but some have a Mc on the beginning.
CnC????
Must buy just so I have tried them all still.
With the thick creaminess of OEprotein i can see that cheesecake being great too

The only hockey that is aired here is field hockey. Its just not the same
This is something I really like about using a Meadows written program. It almost feels like he is sitting on the bench beside you.
I hear you on that. I watched Ducks vs. Wild in Minnesota back in Oct when I visited the states (first time watching) and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Game went into OT with the Ducks scoring in the final few seconds of it...
Awesome. Live hockey is the best. The speed of the game doesn't show very well on television.
I think seeing hockey live is so much of a different experience than on TV because at the rink you get the whole ice in view and not just where the puck is. Thank god for HD TV though. When I was younger, I'd have to focus on the players movements more than where the puck was since it was so hard to tell on the old TVs

Just so I'm understand you correctly, that's the weight including the chains? 20lb chains?
That's without. I usually don't factor in chains or bands, but made that kind of confusing. The total weight was probably around 235lbs.
thanks![]()
Those look great! How is the walden farm syrup?
It's going to be long day. No time for the gym before work (was back at hospital), but I should get a back session in tonight. I'm saving my carbs for this evening, so I made some big, very low carb (<5g net) pancakes.

-2 scoops Vanilla Ice Cream OxyELITE Protein
-220g egg whites
-1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
-1.5 tsp baking powder
-ground cinnamon (to taste and sprinkled on top)
-Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
They were great.
I have a pretty tasty recipe for protein pancakes myself. Not sure they are any better but they are different. Def don't look as healthy either. But for anyone interested :Stolen

Protein pancakes
1/2cup vanilla protein powder
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/4 cup egg whites
1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp extra virgin organic coconut
Oil
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tbsp brn sugar
1/2 tbsp cin
Makes 8 big pancakes.
Definitely not as macro friendly as his in that his are pretty well pure protein. Sounds good if it fits though!
I hear a rumour of a Banana OEProtein flavour as well. Pancakes must be tried.
I love your workouts. Despite being physique oriented there is never a lack of some serious weight being thrown around on certain exercises. Nice balance between isolation and compound movements as well.![]()
Breezy, are you currently doing the muscular demolition program? How do you like this compared to the reactive pump program?
Breezy, I respect the fact that you stop and help others to make things more effective. That said, you do that here every day. I (and I am sure I can say WE) pick up something everyday when you post a workout/video/explanation. Thanks man.
I noticed they both involved hitting chest and Delts twice weekly. I think I'm going to do the twelve week program three, followed by md, then rp. Not sure exactly though
