Holding up constuction wise? How much support/compression?
For UA type material? I just got some and I actually like them more than my UA. My buddy had some and said to get them one size small and they offer a ton of support/compression.
I've used the Adidas ones for years. Never blown out the crotch on any of them.
I'll try those next, thanks. Cost comparable to UA?
They come in a pack of two for $25. I get them at Kohl's where they're BOGO 50%. They have tons of additional coupons every week as well.
I have 4 pairs of UA compression shorts, blown out the crotch of 3 (surprisingly the oldest and most worn has not blown). 2 pairs of cheap korean ones that are thin yoga-pants like material, and cheap target ones that blew out too.
So looking for a pair that holds up, and 7.99 is dirt cheap. I wear every day, I need em.
What is bcg brand?

Kohls is the shít
Those look a lot better than mine and my training partners' did, hence why you haven't seen them in our log. When I saw the spud straps in the picture, I thought you were going to stop on the straps while holding the weight. EDIT: Not that I would ever try that. I was just saying that the straps made me think you took that exercise down another layer of hell.
The fùck?? That's just nonsense.
I can't make heads of tails of it. Gonna research

Extra upper back work during the deadlift. It's a great idea for a sumo puller as it really forces you to keep upright and tight.
Thabks rodja.
Not that I can replicate this at my gym, but is it still a good idea for someone who pulls conventional?
Is extra upper work ever a bad idea?

Hmm, might tell my buddy to bring the SSB bar attachment tomorrow...
I dare you.
Just texted him to bring it. Picked up a pair of compression shorts from Old Navy today, $8 on sale. Seem similar in build to UA cold gear style, interested to see how they hold up.
Have him steady the bar behind you. The miniband kept it there for the most part but didn't help any sway.
Thanks for the pointer, Imma outlift you. It's going to have to from a deficit bc the power rack has a raised platform, fuuu.

and can you just place the weights on blocks to even it out so there's no deficit? Mine was a 0.75" pin pull lol
Gym has no blocks, it's 24hr potatoness, the bars are at least straight, just zero knurling on them. Also, my buddy no longer has the SSB attachment. I live to outlift you another day...
You could be a Billy Badass and balance a straight bar.
We should do a no hands squat contest.
