We don't have to continue this , I'll leave it alone. But I thought it was a good bane and great movie. But like I said I never etched the cartoon or read comics.
Dude he did it in the movie, he also falcon punched the sht out of him. Bane was born into darkness, not adopted bro...
Who shoulda played him? The rock? Lol
All I'm saying is tom hardy is looking powerful. He gets all his authority from the traps. Did you not like the movie? It was killer IMO
I give it a "meh". Nothing like watching a heroic movie and coming out thinking "meh". Either give me "That was awesome!" OR "There was absolutely no storyline, but they blew the fück out of everything and threw down!" Rather too much action than wading through hours of story.
Dude, if you're going to quote the movie, at least quote the fücking movie correctly. Somebody bigger than Dwayne Johnson would have been ideal, that's why Bane was a really tough decision to make into a live action movie. You need a Hafthor Bjornssen sized guy who can act as though they have an astronomical level of intelligence.
I've seen all of the Batman movies and nearly every episode of The Animated Series. The Animated Series and the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton Batman movies are my favorite. Don't argue Batman with a guy who dressed up like Batman and climbed his wardrobe only to have it collapse on him as a young child. Guys like that tend to have strong feelings about Batman.
Brock lesnar might have done a good job. Not sure about acting though LOL. How about mauriusz p?
...farigno.
Also, since when does Batman retire and then come back? Batman's not gonna quit on fighting crime just to come back. He's not freakin Brett Favre.
He was the hulk old man. You should know this
Oh I missed that. Thabks budSpell the man's name right ass...
I believe in the comics when batmans back was broken by bane it was game over and then a new batman came about. Srs
My thread has officially been Smokerized. May God help us all. Especially Smoker.
It's been going around a lot recently. Sean and napalm have all ready caught it.My thread has officially been Smokerized. May God help us all. Especially Smoker.

I was reading about that last night. There's so much going on in a comic series running that long.
Statements like that make me want to unsubscribe from my own training log. Please refrain from sharing your opinion with me in the future.
Right. Ben afflec is gonna be a boss
Your opinion sucks.

Excellent squatting -- too bad you had to waste it on LA. Come up north next time, and I will do my own celebrity spotting of you.![]()
How smooth was the 475 PR?
Um, like masturbating without lube?
Reps suck haha, but we gota do a little BBing style sometimes. I've been doing a bit more with my bench after my main 5-3-1 sets and I think it's paying off. Squats too. I need to start with deads too... but I was thinking about doing double pauses on all my warmups and then normal sets and go back down for First Set Last AMRAP. Just some days don't want to deadlift anymore than I have. I think it's the one lift you can go big or go home and leave it without the extra volume. Anyways I'm rambling.
A really tough and strenuous undertaking but totally worth it in the end?
Yeahh, definitely gotta get back to reps. I hate it anymore, but it's what must be done. This week is just a ramp down into Cube again. I'd like to find a way to get incline pressing involved, not sure which press I should take out of my rotation, because I already press all the damn time.
I like my reps heavy enough to be taxing but enough and with enough volume to get a good pump and bump some size. You know I dropped out OHP completely. Flat is the ONLY pressing I've done in 6 months other than an occasional DB variation, and I've made the best progress that way. But I only dropped it because of nagging injury. I'd love to do decline/incline but I don't like the setup we have for it in the power rack... but maybe I'll play with it.
I've always been a fan of the ~7 rep range for building strength and size (bench and squat. 5-7 is like the most I like for deads) and it seems to work. Definitely can't neglect the heavy weight because you need to get used to controlling it and the leverage changes associated with it, not the mention the sheer power/strength benefits and the training of the CNS.
I really live in the 3-5 range. I think 3-5 works well for me, but I need to live in the 5-8 range for a little while. I'm trying to get my strength endurance back a little, pushing the reps higher, not being a lard-ass. Haven't done much over 5s in awhile in the main movement, that's no goodski.
It's very difficult to stay tight and stable on main movements. I'm not saying to completely eschew a higher rep set on them, but assistance movements lend themselves better to the higher rep range.
Very true. I'm mostly wanting to get out of my comfort zone a little and break up the monotony of PLing training.
