A few quick questions.

Is this product natural? And is there any benefit for a natural bber?

Thanks, I have never taken any types of PHs nor do I plan to. Was interested in the TUDCA and SAMe.

It's a support product. It's great for your well being, blood pressure, organ health, etc

TUDCA and SAMe both support liver function/health.

It's a good product.

You may also look into Aegis and/or Talos by Antaeus Labs.

Thanks bud. I have heard of the others but this formula seems the most comprehensive.

I'll buy it just as a health supplement, wasn't too sure if it was natural.

Glad to help.

Did you compare to Talos and Aegis?

I use Aegis anytime I run methyl orals to keep my liver happy. So far it's been very consistent at keeping my ALT levels under control even while on cycle.

Sorry but CEL cycle assist flat out sucks compared to Damage Control. Not to mention they are the same price. Cycle Assist never again for me.

thehodgsters, CEL is all I have ever used, what (if any) bad experience have you had with it, if you don't mind...? Not against trying something new that may be a better compound.

If he has used it, he most likely hasn't had any bad experience with it.

I don't think I've seen any complaints except about how it smells.

I think he's purely going off of ingredient profile.
Cel cycle assist's reputation exceeds itself.

This doesn't mean there arent support products with cooler ingredients, this means it works and unless it doesn't work well for me, I see no need to change it.

Thanks for the input guys.

My interest is for general health only; I am aware of CEL cycle assist and its popularity, however I like the TUDCA and SAMe additions in Damage Control.

As long as these products are natural I am good to go.

Thanks, how about for general health? No one seems to notice, I am not running PHs.
Well SAMe can be used/good for a few things in the general health dept. It is a good liver protector/detoxifier, joint support, increase feeling of well being & help against mild depression.

TUDCA is strong liver detoxifier & good for cleaning out your biliary ducts/tract. It also may help with gallbladder issues (sludge/stones).

Have you looked at the dosages for Damage control? You have to double dose it to reach the same dosages as Cycle Assist ..so not Cycle Assist is half the price then ;)

***note: CA 's doses are listed PER serving while DC is PER DAY

I have always used cycle assist and think its a good product. I just think the tudca and SAMe in Damage Control rocks. I have read a lot of reviews on DC and not one negative, every one loves it.

If you take the recommended dosages then it is good for general health but not on cycle

With different ingredient profiles they have different MOA's. I think it would be hard to say that one is absolutely better than another in this case. Dr. Houser stated SAMe would be his first choice of product when using an oral steroid, one ingredient not in Cycle Assist. No doubt the CEL product has a solid profile. I also like IML's Advanced Cycle Support.

He recommended it at a much higher dose than they are using

It depends on how many times you are dosing an oral steroid. His recommendation was 400mg 4 hours apart from your oral steroid dosing. So sure if you are dosing orals 2x/day his recommendation would be 800mg. That is not to say 400mg 1x per day is worthless though but I agree more would have greater benefits.

The specific extracts used are just as important as the ingreds themselves(which lgi does not give), except for the SAMe which is 52%....so you are not getting 400mgs of S-Adenosyl L-Methionine, more like 200;)
So now they are using unstandardized extract of Hawthorne, Celery seed extract and a 18% saw palmetto in addition to them all being low dosed...................so you can see what you are really getting now?
