God, that was funny. People wouldn't know whether to cry or wind their watch if a powerlifter with a strong back walked in there. So many douchebag shoulders, so many high squats (well, not that many people squatted). Saw a partner-assisted set of curls followed by throwing the bar on the ground.
My least favorite exercise that I see every time I'm in a commercial gym is the 3-inch shrug done by protracting the scapulae. I guess it's not their fault, since they've never seen what an actual set of traps look like, but IF THEY HAD, they'd see that the traps work to elevate and/or RETRACT the scapulae. Love when people ask how my traps got so much bigger than theirs when they shrug way more than me.
