Jim: Performance is King Log.

I'm not quoting that **** show...

My point about natty growth was naturally elevated test levels (into the 23-25 y/o range), which is when they they start to drop off. This is when the chasm between natty and enhanced begins to grow and the natty dudes start playing (never) catch up.

I think your plan of getting to 240-250 then blasting is a good one, hell I wish I had done that and honestly it has me considering it. I compete in an untested fed, and while *kind of* competitive (top 4-5 at any given smaller meet), I want to get into a bigger conversation.

I know it's me vs me, but I'm still voraciously competitive, and I lack an advantage most of my peers have.

Wtf are we talking about again?

I still say wait 2-3 years then hit it. You're good but you have way more in you jim. You just started gaining weight.

I played some baseball but shoulder issues along with inability to adapt as a pitcher pretty much ended me. I was a great fielder so I could moved position but I couldn't hit jack sht
That explains it, it isn't as big of a phenomenon in baseball.

And thats the thing, if I were just powerlifting where it was about getting as big of a total and hitting my own PRs then it would be a different story.

I would have no qualms about waiting to use AAS in powerlifting, but waiting until I'm 30 to be a competitive SHW Strongman really cuts into longevity (especially considering the joint issues I already have). You talk about how starting now (you and napalm) would effect my longevity in the sport, but wouldn't starting later cut into that longevity moreso than starting now?

Lol, I definitely didn't just start. 3 years ago I weighed 130 pounds.

At that weight I squatted 315 for a 1RM, and bench 195 for a 1RM (17 years old).

I think you guys forget that I've been strength training (not BBing, but powerlifting training with sprints for speed) for 7 years now lol.

When that is taken into consideration, I am not that strong.

Jim if you wanna do it, go for it. You seem like your looking for support on your decision. Your body, your goals, your life bro. Ain't no body can make the decision for ya.

If you 100% want to do it, go for it.

If your still on the fence, wait a lil.

Of course man, I'm saying you were hanging around 180 for a little while and just starting putting mass on, fast, fairly recently, actively trying to get to the upper weight classes. Not that you've been there for a long time.

I want to be clear I think you should do it but I don't think you should rush. Make your natty gains now while they are still easy. We have all seen you make progress over the past year.

I definitely wouldn't say that, I'm making an argument lol.

When I decide to do it, I'll do it even if you guys all disapprove.

That makes more sense.

I probably didn't communicate my point well. I'm simply saying take advantage of natural test as long as possible.

In terms of longevity in the sport, youth is king. From that perspective, getting to the top ASAP would be ideal.

I know you'll do what you want, but I'll support you here either way.

Rep Deads :

Warm-up: rolling, lax ball mashing, work up to 225

Pre: 1.5 enhanced, 3 prime, 2 Anabeta
Intra : 2 A IV

Work: 255 x 10, 295 x 10

Deads were easy today, was talking to a guy at the gym about how slow I've been off the ground, his suggestion? Pull it faster. Which worked lol.

DL stance box squat: 225 x 6, 245 x 6 x 3

a1. NG Pullup: BW x 8 x 3
a2. Band Pullapart: Black x 15 x 4

GHR Situp: BW x 10 x 4

That's some high-dollar coaching, man! Lol. Pull harder. You're nuts with your ten-rep deadlifts.

That there is some impressive volume. My kinda lifting -- only WAY heavier.

"Pull it faster", interchangeable with "don't be a bitch" right?

But seriously, mentally ripping that bar off the ground 110% of what you think you can is all it takes to move more weight. If you have good form ironed into your patterning.

Lol, it was only ~75%
My vaj doesn't hurt for anything under 400 jimmy johns
Then why won't you do reps lol.

It could be.

That's what I tell myself. Like tomorrow when I go to pull I say that. And then I pull. It works. I should try "pull faster".

LOL, my missus says I FAIL at giving compliments properly as well, which is why I tell her that her ass looks totally fat, even if it only looks 75% fat. ;)

What's a compliment?

You're trippin' dude, lol.

Next time, I will use reverse psychology, or otherwise be less charitable. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. You're growing on me Jim, like a fungus, a trippy fungus.

Conditioning today.

Did some dynamic preworkout crap, a little rolling, drank A IV Intra.

Farmers Carry: 130# x 100M

Tire Deadlift: 550 x 10, 550 x 11

As many as possible in 45 seconds, not a flip just picking it up to a full extension of the hips and for the body to be straight.

Farmers Hold: 180# x 45 seconds, 150 x 60 seconds.

Lol, I assume it's because it mimics a Farmer (or farmhand) carrying buckets of milk (or water, or anything really).

I thought it was carrying the farmer's daugher, whilst milking her from both sides. I like that better.

Hee Haw!

You sir, could carry a fawk-ton of milk
I'm training to assure that I can always carry my groceries in one trip.

Hmmm, isn't that illegal?

She's probably 15 man! You're 10x her age!

I believe WOD is an acronym, or the formation of a "word" using the three first initials of each word contained therein.

Wise guy eh?..

Woah bro, I don't care what you do in the privacy of your own bathroom (although, I can't say I know many people with cartoon fetishes).

:biglaugh:

I'm just glad they aren't real adolescent girls!

Ironically, that's a caricature of a grown woman from Hee Haw, no shyte. It's quite clearly a grown woman, in any event. I am not quite sure what seems so childish about her. Grown women can have pointed titties too.

And a fetish for anime is not all that novel. You ought to go to Tokyo sometime. Oh noms, those school girls without underwear, lol. Not kidding entirely.

Now settle down, Beevis. I've got TP for your bunghole.

Okay, have your last word, young buck. You're going to be great fun on a supra dose of test, that much is sure, lol. I can hardly wait.

In for the pointed tits.

(Jim's/heehaw girls/Asians/anyone's)

LOL. Dream of the Heehaw Girls and Daisy Dukes, with the pointed titties, but proudly am shacked up to the Asian, who is without (but also is with so much more, including without limitation, abs of steel).

Speed Benching done today.

Warm-up: Rolling Upper, Band Pullapart Series, Bench up to 135

Pre : 1 enhanced, 3 Prime, 2 Anabeta
Intra: 2 AIV

Work: 165 x 2, 135 x 2 x 2, 155 x 2 x 2, 165 x 2 x 3 (+2 doubled red bands)

Not bad, first set felt slow so I knocked the weight down and worked up, didn't look slow on video though.

Dips: BW x 8, +26 x 8, +36 x 8, +44 x 6

KBs on the dip belt.

a1. DB Bench: 65 x 10, 75 x 10, 85 x 5
a2. Bradford Press: 95 x 8, 95 x 2--65 x 6, 65 x 8
a3. Facepull: Red x 20 x 3

b1. Log Row, 50 reps in AFSAP: 110 x 4 sets
b2. Lying Band curl, 100 reps in AFSAP: Red x 4 sets

This is why speed days have been KILLING me of late. They feel heavy and slow but the tape looks fine, so I stick with it. Those have been the days I feel the most sore and beat up. I know soreness doesn't equal quality, but it's a great feeling when speed day doesn't feel like an off day.
