1ifeblood Breaks On Through to the Other Side!

My birthday was Monday so I took a break from workouts and diets and replaced it with a couple days of birthday festivities. But today it's time to get serious again! Weigh in this morning was 201.8... the heaviest I've ever been! The best thing about it is that I STILL fit into the same pair of jeans so my waist hasn't changed much (although the thighs and butt are extremely tight) however I'm practically busting out of my shirts! Time to hit the gym... this workout is gonna be a good one!

Initially it's a good feeling...until you realize you'll never be able to wear your favorite shirt again and will have to buy a whole new wardrobe.

What? I like to look nice. It's not cool when you outgrow all of your nice clothes and can't afford to buy new ones. Then it's just like "Let's see...which of my three shirts should I wear today?"

Just wanted to check in to let you guys know what's going on. My 11 year old daughter had to get her appendix removed which had been quite the ordeal. She's settled back at home now and doing well, but this has kept me out of the gym. So next week will have to be extra intense to make up for it.

On a funnier note, co-workers have started calling me juice because I "look like I'm on steroids" lol.

Lol... Thanks snags! I know I can count on you to take things in the right direction. ;-) The clothes were certainly... interesting. But the guy was a great photographer that came from New York, truly gay to say the least, but a great photographer nonetheless.

13 sets of squats and leg press...volume volume everywhere! Do you use knee wraps on the low and narrow leg press? I love doing them lightly say 15-20 reps but always wrap. A few years ago I tore a quad doing them too heavy and unwrapped. Best exercise ever for quads, but definitely one to exercise caution on.

13 sets of squats and leg press...volume volume everywhere! Do you use knee wraps on the low and narrow leg press? I love doing them lightly say 15-20 reps but always wrap. A few years ago I tore a quad doing them too heavy and unwrapped. Best exercise ever for quads, but definitely one to exercise caution on.

400lbs is pretty easy to move and I don't feel any strain on my knees. I could probably get 20 reps at this weight. In fact I probably won't ever go real heavy on Leg Press since the real work comes from the short test time and multiple sets. And with Leg Extensions, that can be even more detrimental to knees, the weight is VERY light but I utilize a slower tempo to finish the muscle off. Using a weight that I could probably rep out 30-40 a set, becomes a roaring fire in the muscle once those last couple reps of slow tempo sets are finished.

Needless to say... I'm sore as FOCK today!

Lol, thanks buddy! She gets to go back to school tomorrow so she's pretty happy. I'll take a couple post workout shots tomorrow and some more full body stuff on Sunday.

If I get one it's gonna have to have the rad basket on the front. I see a lot of, ahem, "overweight" people using them at grocery stores. It'd be hilarious to see a female with <10% bf, fit as a fiddle, strolling one around.

This girl rocks! Glad to have you back chica! Classy has been doing a phenomenal job rocking the "only female in the thread" role, but I think she'll appreciate having someone to share the burden with. :-)

Looking good man, abs getting tighter and your chest is a lot fuller, arms bigger, everything seems to be improving quickly. Keep on crushing it!
