Thoughts about GVT the day after.

Shoulders are a bit sore today namely side delts. I knew I hit them pretty hard yesterday considering the fatigue I was feeling at the end of my sets but I don't normally get sore. Thumbs up here.

Back is fine. No DOMS there.

Today was Chest and Upper Back. Super setted the exercises and enjoyed this pace much more. 20 seconds rest between exercises. 90 seconds rest between super sets.

Next session I will up the weight on bench since I blew through these with no problem at all even at a super slow tempo.

The rows were very close to the right weight. Will add ten lbs next session and see how it goes.

On accessory lifts I kept the same tempo and got a really deep stretch. These were super sets with no rest between exercises and 60 seconds rest between super sets.

You really want a weight you start failing to get your reps around the 5th or 6th set. Then work until you get to 10x10 and go up.

Got cha. So I need to add quite a bit then lol.

Yes, on all your lifts estimate your 10 rep max so say bench is what around 275x10 max. Once you have that number multiply it by 60% and that isyour starting weight. So 275x .60 = 165 lbs to start. That is the prescribed method in the book I had. That or if you know your 20 rep max use that weight. They both end up close to the same.

I started with about 45% cause I was taking into account the tempo change. Will bump up next go round. How ya like da noods bald brother?

First go at GVT today. I must say this is some boring ass shyt.

I agree, but at the same time enjoying something different.

Yeah they take the temp change into consideration. The book said 10 rep max at your normal tempo, I probably should have clarified that in advance. I used to have the whole book which had the 2nd part too which goes to 10 sets of 6. It is also done on a 5 day cycle normally. So chest/back, legs, rest, arms, shoulders, rest & repeat if you want to do it closer to the original. I know you have the extra back day so the 7 day cycle works well for how you have it.

No problem.

The book I got this from was the EAS Supplement Bible way back when they were super legit before they went full on mainstream. I don't know if I still have it hiding around but I might.

Here is a link to the Advanced GVT article at tnation Invalid Link Removed it has a few changes but at least the changes are written by the original author of the program.

Today starts "Nasty Time"

The next six weeks I'll be following GVT (already talked about that).

What we didn't talk about though was my "assistance" :)

Epi 50mg ED for six weeks
Tvar 120mg ED for six weeks

I'll be using 1g NAC every day along with Active Multi for my "cycle support" and also have Prami that I'll be starting. Going to start with .125 mg Prami and work my way up to .5mg and probably cruise at that dose.

PCT is TRT so yeah :) I will be off of Max Pump until cycle is over and resume that once I'm in PCT along with Rev PCT and Ignite2.

Gonna be a fun ride.

cycling the Max Pump eh, bummer - I kinda like that stuff while on cycle
(I like it any time tho lol)

no 1-Alpha for test base? I would strongly encourage, if you have some available..
would help to ensure you don't start feeling like crap from that stack, which is a fair possibility as you have it structured currently

He's on test as a test base, no?

My thinking on max pump is a couple things.

Cycling off nitrates for the first time in about three months for one.

For two epi, tren and max pump and GVT combined sounds like epic pain pumps.

Added endurance post cycle is a plus

Yeah I've got the best test base you can get :)
indeed you do

oh I agree on the cycling aspect, and everything else you mention makes sense too
I personally prefer to cycle most everything I take, with exception of multivite and morning cup of java
:D

Nice, can't wait to see the crazy results... GVT + EPI & Tren = BIG GAINS!

Progress is awesome. I can't say that enough. TBH, you look bigger post-cut than you did pre-cut, as senseless as that sounds. It's funny how once you slim the waist, the shoulders look so much bigger.
My first couple of GVT sessions were trial and error as well. I think you have a good grasp on it and once you find that sweet spot, it'll get harder and you'll notice the DOMS.
I can't imagine the pumps on epi, MAX PUMP and GVT. I don't think I'd want to experience it because it sounds painful, and not the good kind of painful.
Keep killing it man, looking forward to seeing what these next six weeks produce.

Thanks brothers. I'm in the perfect spot with diet, training, mindset, anabolics and body comp to make some awesome changes here. Hopefully the finished product will be what I have envisioned.

If you want to go to 8 wks I'd lean more towards upping the Trenavar & dropping the Epistane @ wk 6 as planned - keep the liv happy & it'll love you long time, right? Just add in some exemestane to compensate since you'll be using it in PCT anyway (or at least a bottle of Revolution PCT).

I love all of the Finaflex products you mentioned (except the Multi, as I haven't tried it). Really top notch products IMHO.

WINNING!

Also I shaved my head this morning and when I do it sweats like crazy. So I had a huge puddle of head sweat where I was sitting between sets with my head down. Should have gotten a pic.

So Paratroop got to hear my knee on video today :) anyone else wanna hear the day to day awesomeness I deal with? Lol pm me your email if so

Couple questions regarding that: are reps from other companies allowed to review other companies' products on AM? If so, does it matter that I'm on cycle currently? Because I could definitely use better sleep right now.

Perhaps Snags will have a better idea of what's fair game.

All depends on what your company policy is.....we are just looking for a few good men (women), who can give a honest review....

Yes we are ok with other reps logging our products. And as long as you can separate what you are currently on and G8 then yes that's fine bud.

Put an app in with a cool vid.

I've logged a few products and had some other reps log Usplabs stuff. Most reps are stand up guys so there's little to no interference with this. IMO, it helps the entire community

These are my thoughts - we're simply trying to give credit where it's due, & help companies improve & customers get a better idea of what they're buying.

Also one thing to note. Any rep logging for us must be totally unbiased in their review. An iForce minion logged Max Pump and gave it straight fives and said it was awesome and so on and so forth and when it came up in a thread he said it failed I'm comparison to their nitrate product. Just be honest.

All I know is, if a rep from another company gives your product a fair, unbiased, and positive review, that's one of the best reviews you can ask for.
