Advice needed

Hello, my name is Dalton; I'm 20, 6'0", 180lbs., with an average build... I need some advice about anabolic supplements.

I haven't trained since I was younger, 13-17. During that time I was a bit too young, and too small to try supplements, let alone anabolics. However, I've had a recent turn of events in my life, and I'm left with a bit more free time on my hands. So I'd like to start training and lifting again.

I need a bit of advice though. I know I should probably train and lift for a bit of time before starting to use any form of steroids, but how long should I wait? Also, I have problems with supplements like C4, nitric oxide, energy boosters, etc. because they cause my blood-sugar to bottom out due to my hypoglycemia. Would steroids have the same effects?

I'm just curious if it's something I should even consider. I know that a good diet and training regiment using proper form would suffice, however, I would like to get substantially bigger, stronger, and more cut within the next year. I'm tired of being average, I would like to turn heads for once in my life.

Let me say welcome and good luck on your goals. That being said your no where near being ready for any type of anabolic, at least in my opinion. The good news is you can make great gains without them. First thing you need to get control of is your diet. If your blood sugar is crashing then you'll need to be especially on point. I'd find a basic workout routine. Just about anyone at this point will give you gains. Then read everything you can on nutrition. Stick at it and learn what works for you. Trust me you'll make some great gains. Then in a couple years you'll be ready to take it to the next level.(anabolics) good luck

No, I'm not diabetic, so I don't use insulin. Hypoglycemia means you can get low blood sugars, diabetes is both low and high blood sugars... Basically, when I get low blood sugars I have to quickly correct it with carbs and sugars.

And NADDANME: so you're saying years? That's really what I was wondering. I mean, I wished for another answer, but like Kevinhim said, "Rome wasn't built in a day." I would love it if I could just pump some steroids and hit the gym super hard and get huge quick, but my health is more important than that. I mean, yes, a huge portion of my reason for lifting again is appearance, BUT I can't sacrifice my health for my appearance, that has to be my number one concern with any choice I make.

Thanks a lot guys!

Ive been at it 5 years and still chasing gains. Lift for 2 to 3 years consistent with it.

Otherwise you're just using steroids. They enlarge muscles they don't make you grow new ones*you can add perma muscle though in a behind the scenes mechanism. *they are best used to polish a physique.

It universally accepted that no one under the age of 21 should use any form of anabolics. Most people will say, my self included that you should wait until your 25 and have been lifting seriously for at least 1-2 years with a regular routine and diet. At your age anabolics aren't needed. If you work hard and smart by next summer you'll look completely different with out using anything that could mess up your endocrine system for life.

isnt that what lifting without steroids does also? I thought everyone was born with x number of muscle fibers and lifting with or without juice only enlarges them

Thats true and untrue. You do have a genetic potential but you can add more fibers. Yes you are able to enlarge cells via sarcoplasmic hypertrophy training natural but myofibril hypertrophy is different. This is the muscle that stays. The stuff powerlifters have more of. Steroids mainly just enlarge the muscle.

I say 4 so you're close to your potential. A polish so to speak.
