1ifeblood Breaks On Through to the Other Side!

Pr central up in here !! Killing it fo sho.
Regarding the cut I'd wait two weeks minimum before starting to cut. Why Clen? I've read that stuff causes necrosis of the heart cells. Have you ever run it before? I'd look into albuterol first, it has the same active ingredient but a much much shorter half life so if you respond to it quite badly it's out of your system quick, like hours quick instead of days like clen.

I've read that albuterol is not as potent and doesn't carry the anti catabolic affects you get from clen.

Potency all depends on your source ;) lol. Ill have to dig up some of my old literature on my days off an read back up on it, I was positive there was anti catabolic affects. Even so the potential heart necrosis effects of clen scares the shít out of me.... But I'm looking at running it on my cut.... Just because I want to see what the fuss is about.

I don't think I even came across that word in any of my research lol. But I know that anything you consume in some form or another has a "realized" side effect that may be minor or possibly dangerous. Ever read the side effects for overdosing on vitamin C? I think it comes down to careful analyzation and self assessment. I've taken a LOT of different extracurricular substances in my day and have a pretty good understanding of how and why my mind and body are being affected by things. If there's absolutely no additional benefit to going with clen over albuterol then I'm all for it. But so far, what I've come across is that clen is superior in weight loss and anti catabolism.

How far are you into this run?
You're already considering a cut?
If you do everything right during this run, you may not need to run a full-on cut. With your planned run, you should be able to melt a great amount of fat and add lbm at the same time.

Starting week 4. I'm hoping to burn fat as I gain muscle but there's plenty of instances where that doesn't happen. I'm really just considering options at this point. I've always had very stubborn belly fat. It goes there easily and never wants to leave lol. I probably just need to give it more time before I even worry about it but right now I'm on the edge of being uncomfortable with my midsection.

Post pics again, highlight the belly. You could just have a little slower metabolism than others and need to toss a little less food at yourself. If you are gaining fat quickly then you are eating too much. Point blank. However I think you need to do a side by side of the before and current to really see what is going on. Also a lot of that could be the volume of food you are eating could just be filling your gut. You have a decent dose and run going but remember it is not a huge run. You don't need to eat like guys running 1g plus of gear a week.

I wouldn't give it much thought until you finish the Dbol, and the water clears a little. However if you are honestly gaining fat too quickly make an adjustment. Doesn't have to be a big one, drop 100-150 cals per day and see if you like that. Bulking doesn't mean you have to get fat. Look at how LivetoLift runs his, he always gets good gains but he manages his aesthetics all the way through. Typically he will lean bulk for 8 weeks then clean up the last 4 before hitting PCT.

Bottom line no matter what or how others would have you do it, you know what makes you happy. Adjust your dietary intake so that you see the results that YOU want. If you want to gain 40 lbs in the next 2 years and look at competing or something get used to a thicker waist for a bit, or you can monitor everything closely so that you are getting bigger and leaner each time you run something. You have to decide how you want to progess and if having a bigger waist bothers you then make small adjustments. You will still put on plenty of muscle and there are no guarantees that if you ate big & gained 20 on this run but a good amount was fat, or you gained 12-15 without much fat at all that in the end there would be a difference in total LBM gained. My opinion is that you do what makes you feel best. I like to be leaner most of the time. I would gladly trade off gaining 20 w/ fat, for gaining 10-12 lbs and being leaner.

What is your carb intake like? High amount of carbs that your body isn't used to? Is carb bloating a likely culprit?

I think I'm with you there. I would definitely rather be lean and gain a good 10 lbs of muscle. And I've always looked at LTL's runs as a basis for how I wanted my results to be. I think I'll maintain calories for now and continue to grow over the next few weeks and then taper down to a few hundred over maintenance for the remainder of my cycle to hopefully lean up. A lot of my issue could just be water retention and overeating bloat. I don't tend to look so bad in the mornings. Thanks for the input Kleen, you always know how to put things so i can make sense of it. :-)

I'll put up some pics here shortly.

you're thinking about clen? da fuq for?
seriously, you have no business even thinking about that at this time bud...clen can be useful, like it myself - but understand, you need to be in serious caloric deficit to make it worthwhile, and be aiming for some goal like stepping on stage or something....doing clen at maintenance cals, or for just recreational fat-loss activity, is fail, not going to provide the results you want at all

if you were to do clen right (ie in combination with cal-deficit) and go that low on cals, after your run here....you might as well have not done all of this to begin with, as you will just give back all of your gains from this little cycle

not a good plan bro, scrap it and get back to the drawing board

do they use that word "patience" in iowa? if not, you need to learn it

And this is why I come to my bros (and sistas) when contemplating these things. Things I've read about Clen completely contradict what you've just said about it. That you can eat at a caloric deficit and shed fat while maintaining muscle mass. But as I've said before, I will always defer to the wisdom of my friends and their experiences because that's where my trust lies. Patience is something I used to have but it bordered on laziness. Now that I've gotten to this point in my life (early midlife crisis? ) I want results now. I know this isn't the right way to think about things which is why I have this constant tug and pull going on in my head. I will say that I have a sort of "show" I'm preparing for next summer as we are all going to Florida with my wife's side of the family and want to look ridiculously shredded when that time comes. :-D

I think we all have that mindset from time to time. Being 42... I feel the need to do as much as I can now (in terms of effectiveness / results), before I 'run out of time'..

I started TRT. I ate generally right. I lost fat and gained muscle. Gear works wonders. It will allow you be in a deficit and still put on muscle. Short and sweet answer.

Exactly! Plus it doesn't help that I've got this stunningly gorgeous wife that's only 25 years old.

That is an easy goal and one you can do for certain without using Clen. Just keep yourself in check. You are uncomfortable right now but comfortable enough so just do what you need to do to make sure you don't gain more fat so you don't have a big clean up. No problem and it won't hurt your gains, at least our legitimate gains anyway. You are at a good body fat for a lot of gains, but there is no need nor benefit for you in eating more than needed to see the gains especially since you test will be recovering for a couple months so it will not be as easy to get lean in the months afterward. Certainly the idea of an anti-cortisol supplement for fat loss as well as muscle retention is a great idea in PCT but there are tons of healthier options for anti-cortisol. ERASE, PCT Rev Blackor any product with the same ingredient in it will work quite well for keeping cortisol levels down while lowering estrogen to help increase testosterone production. No need to hit up the Clen if not under a massive time crunch.

^^^Solid. Slow and steady wins the race. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. No need to rush. Do it right the first time and you'll thank yourself later.

My wife still gets carded everywhere we go. I told her I like it they must all think I am either rich or hung like a horse to have her. Of course she is only 2.5 years younger than me.

Everyone pretty much covered what I was gonna say lol

*I tried to get a set of squats in but my body wasn't having it.

All I can say is that I'm feeling incredible! I love the shape my body is forming into, but my midsection is definitely getting thick. I know this is going to happen and is a good sign that I'm getting enough calories in for growth (the significant size in my muscle is surely an indicator of that too :-) ), but I don't want to be a strong muscley fatty! I know I need to keep calories high through PCT to minimize muscle loss so cutting won't happen until after PCT. But at this rate I'm going to be 20% bf after all is said and done! So I guess to make myself feel better I'm wanting to get my cutting phase in order.

When would it be a good time to start my cut? Should I wait awhile after PCT or is it safe to start right after? I've also been considering getting into some clen cycling after PCT. I've read a lot about clen so feel comfortable with it, just wanted to see what kind of input my familia had to offer.

Good stuff 1ifeblood! I wouldn't worry about your midsection looking thicker. You're retaining more glycogen in all muscles right now, including those you may not be directly working plus you may also be experiencing some distention. Embrace the belly (lol) and know that when you go through PCT it will go down, and the actual mass you gained in the areas you're training will remain, and you'll see an accurate picture of what you accomplished with the cycle.

I'd definitely wait until AFTER PCT to begin your cut, once you've stabilized. You don't want to be dieting during PCT and certainly not during the cycle as you'll want to get the most you can out of this re mass gains.

You always speak true Classy, thank you for that! I'm obviously just getting bent out of shape over not having the "perfect" body because, like snags said, I need to be patient. I know this is a marathon and not a sprint. If I stay focused on intensity in the gym and diet and rest outside of the gym, everything will come together as it should.

Speaking of which, I just dosed some Stimul8 by Finaflex (Thanks for the logging opportunity gents) and am feeling amped the fug up! I'll post a link to the thread later, but now I have to go destroy my legs! Peace!

She has some pretty eyes!

Sorry I've been slacking on the updates guys. Having some issues with home and work. I'm still hitting the gym as hard as ever and seeing constant improvements. Today I'm feeling a bit run down, actually a lot run down. Don't know if it's test flu, low estro, or just plain stress (or combo) but I'm achy and tired, no appetite, and my head just isn't right. I'll post up some numbers of my past couple workouts in a bit. Just didn't want you guys to think I forgot about you.

Of course not! Busy? Who knows what it's from exactly, but please get some rest!

Probably won't get much this weekend. Heading to Kansas City for the NIN concert tomorrow and won't be back until Tuesday. But it'll be good times, which is what I think I'm needing right now.

I got a great opportunity to run some Stimul8 and Max Pump by Finaflex (as if you didn't know lol). The Max Pump log is coming to an end but the Stimul8ion is just beginning. Here's links to both:

Okay, here's a little shot of humor for you guys to help recover from the gloom and doom crap I threw out there.

What exactly am I doing up in a tree? And what the hell is so funny over there? I would love to see what captions you guys come up with for these pics!

This is one of those times when I really wish I had more creative talent haha. Interested to see if anyone comes up with anything good...

The most I've ever weighed was 198 and I was just fat. So this tells me a lot about the progress I've made. I'm thinking next week's weigh in will put me over 200 and I've got a nice muscley look going on!

If I was drinking something, it would have spewed from my mouth when I read this. Well done!
