Workout from Friday August 23,2013
Well I missed Thursday as I said earlier, so back was the main focus today.
I took my pre and wanted to get in and just hurt myself. Condense was very good, and I wanted to drink more bc I like the flavor.
I got in about 5 min after taking condense. I put my son in kiddie gym and went over to hit bent over rows. As soon as I set my weights up, here comes this old man, he stops and starts talking. I kinda rudely gave short answers to retarted questions, such as so how often do you work out, I see you here a lot. Should I eat chicken or beef? I was kinda annoyed as all get out. I put my beats over my ears and began to lift, to Lincoln Park. Good timing. I did a warm up set. Stretched out a bit. And another warmup. The guy is still standing over my weights.
I started to change out to a working set and he started to help. He was talking but I couldn't hear him due to the beats. I did a working set and he signaled for me to take off my headphones. Just began rambling. I said I have to do my sets, I don't have much time. He walked away but came back twice to talk. So annoyed I couldn't get my groove. But tried the best I could.
Back routine-
Bent over rows-
2 warmup set
4 working sets
Reverse grip bent over rows
3 sets 12 reps.
Skipped t bar bc the d-bag was standing there wanting to talk.
Went to wide grip pull downs
2 light sets
3 heavy sets
1 drop set
Reverse grip mts row on hammer strength
Started heavy 90 lbs each arm and did it till failure all the way to 20 lbs moving down by 10's then rested 2 min and did the same thing moving back up
Single arm db rows
3 sets 8 reps
Wanted more but had to train biceps with a client.
Biceps
2 sets 15 reps each arm warm up
Preacher curl
5 sets 5-8 reps heavy as hell.
1 major drop set. 90,80,70,50,30 all till failure no rest, just enough to switch
Wide grip bb curls super setted with outside db curls
60lbs bb for 10 rep x2 sets
30lbs db for 6-8 reps x 2 sets
Close grip bb curls super setted with across body db curls
60lbs bb for 10 rep x2 sets
30lbs db for 6-8 reps x 2 sets
Hammer curls super setted with incline seated iso curl
Hammer db heavy heavy heavy for 5,5,4,5 reps
Seated iso curl- 8 reps ea but didn't finish last two sets made it to 6
Then finished with db @ 35,30, 27.5, 25, 22.5, 20, 17.5, 15, 12.5, and 10 all till failure. Hard flex nice twist on top end and slow concentration on eccentric motion. I wanted to scream it hurt so bad. I was soaked with sweat couldn't drink my bcaa's or remove my beats.
Once my client joined me my intensity went through the roof. Energy was high and focus was the best it's been. I was in the zone.
