Who needs cycle supports when you got this many supporters?
I promise, that once the games begin, I will be more professional and only chime in when necessary. Pfft.

It will ALWAYS be necessary sir.

Hey Kleen, would this Ultimate Diet plan be a good idea for me on cycle? I'm looking through his website now and finding it pretty interesting.

I ran a cycle of Super-DMZ on it and had great results. In 3.5 weeks I put on 14.5 lbs while getting noticeably leaner!

Yet to try dmz. I'm a sdrol popping animal though so its hard to pull me away from it!!!

The original S-DMZ was 10mg DMZ and 10mg SD per cap and holy shyte was it serious. I quit in the middle of my 3rd week it was so intense... Of course when it comes to SD you are a superman!

I believe I have found something new to obsess over... Lyle Mcdonald's site is chock full of informative articles.

Oh yes! Lyle is the sh!t! Man knows his stuff, you can get lost in the information on his site.

OMG! Hamstring PUMPS! FUUUUUUHHHH!

You taking taurine? Dirt cheap and works wonders

I do have taurine but didn't think it was anything I would need until I jumped on. I've never experienced pumps like that before! Oh and btw... the goods have arrived! Now how the fak am I supposed to wait 2 more weeks before starting?!

Yup, and SALT.
salt huge driving force in both balance, and the actual pump process itself
if you are doing RDA, you are not doing enough
(strike this is you have heart/blood pressure issues..one would assume this to not be the case however, if you are undertaking a potent steroidal course for amusement purposes)

patience iowa
or - just say fawk it and start early
pick one

No heart/BP issues at all in my family. So how much more than RDA would you suggest? I figured it would have to be more with all the water we drink but didn't know how much more.

The first mistake has already been made. Now you've got 2 weeks of unnecessary suffering to endure.

Lyle McD suggests 3-5G Sodium/1G Potassium/300mg Magnesium. I thought you wanted a 2:1 ratio of potassium to sodium but he suggests up to 5:1 SODIUM to POTASSIUM??

Oh I thought he meant 2.0 my bad homie

I personally don't pay too much attention to what lyle says..he was just not an influence or part of where/how I learned my nutritional concepts
as for this this tho, yeah it's not too bad, tho I would still go higher on sodium, say ~5-6g
for comparison: I am currently taking in anywhere from 8-10g, but there is a point to it beyond simple "balances" right now
as for potassium, yeah sounds right
try not to get what "ratios" one recommends here or there - for example, macro "ratios" are the basis for a whole lot of dietary structuring going on out there, and it is worthless in the overall scheme of things, as well you tend to start focusing on the wrong things, instead of the things that really matter

Yeah there's a lot that he says that I have to question, plus he seems like a D-bag in response to the questions people ask him. Anyway, now you've got me wondering. When you say the ratio of macros are worthless and it causes people to focus on the wrong things. .. whats the RIGHT things to focus on? It's probably a good thing I've still got two weeks before I start because I keep learning new things lol.

TOTAL macro consumption (calories), very much planned and directional in approach with attention paid not only to appropriate amount of carbs, but the quality and nutritional value of these..the proper amount of fats for your goals, with an understanding of what exactly fats do (I like fats, they are essential to a lot function/growth - but an overabundance as ppl tend to use, will indeed be stored to fat) and knowing the difference between how much satfat you want, and other quality fats..and instead of focusing on what ppl view as the most important part of the structure (ie what amount do I place my protein at?), focusing more on the essentails of carbs/fats, and let protein fall where it may -- in the end, making sure you have enough there within your cal intake, to do what you want to do for goals; also of course make sure that generally speaking protein sources are lean meats, and not overly fatty cuts like 80% (or less) beef and fatty steaks, or an over-reliance on protein shakes for your protein requirements
it's just a general thought process difference is all, but can make all the difference in the world in how things turn out - esp while on cycle, if you want to make the most out of it

you ask some pretty tough questions that require long responses from me! :biglaugh:
stop that

Sorry, I like the sound of your voice. At least the way I hear it in my head when I'm reading your stuff. But, of course, I DO want to make the most of my cycle and you bring up perspectives that I haven't really come across. Or if I did, I dismissed it because it's not the general way of thinking. But I can't just dismiss something you're saying because, well... it's YOU. There's so many different perspectives on how things should be done, what works and what doesn't, what the science REALLY says, but I will take the knowledge provided by guys that I look up to and who have LIVED it over any of that stuff, because in the end, EXPERIENCE is king...as long as you know how to interpret what you've experienced.

^^ I like this outlook, truly
smart
But I can't just dismiss something you're saying because, well... it's YOU.
well, I do think differently than most ppl - and I embrace it
do what other ppl do, end up looking like other ppl look..generally just not for me
I don't mean that to sound arrogant, and certainly there are "norms" and standard protocols I utilize in some aspects (not many), but I do have quite a few specifics that shape my philosophy on things, and have been developed not fly-by-night, but over time, repetition, keen observation & monitoring of myself, as well as others I have applied these principles to
a patient and repeated approach, will learn you many things that you embrace to be true
thanks for those words

I dismiss everything you say with extreme prejudice.

Lol ;)

Well I've also seen what you've done for Big Danny B so there's no doubt you know what you're doing.

Well I've also seen what you've done for Big Danny B so there's no doubt you know what you're doing.
ahh, that's easy
the hard part when structuring, is getting the person to truly buy in to your approach, and trust that the program will work and make the changes you want to see..it requires execution on point, to a T - no wiggle room
I don't know any other way to teach the things I try to teach, then to get the person to trust this entirely..
so give dan the credit - he has followed thru like a champ! he's doing all the work, not me

Wow thanks for the kind words guys. And snags speaks the truth. Buying in 100% and consistency has been key for me thus far. Buying in to the fact that that 1 pc if pizza or 1 doughnut or whatever it is for you DOES make a difference. I was always a "eh 1 pc of pizza isnt that bad" kind of guy. Which in the grand scheme of things it really isnt BUT who can have just 1 pc? Not me lol and I recognize that now. Buying inyo the Life style changes my friend. Lets be honest here. Dieting fuking sucks. Going in and smashing the gym is the fun part. Unless your snags (whom im pretty sure is a robot of some sort) everyone wants a greasy ass burger or fries or doughnuts or whatever. But at the end of the day it comes down to do YOU believe in what your doing and what your goals are. Im nowhere near the ene of my journey here but i know when I get there it will be worth it.
